Pursuing green, Sichuan farmers are deeply cultivating the collaborative path of family farms

In order to promote the green development of agriculture in our province with high quality and understand the current situation of green development of family farms in our province, the research team of Green Agriculture-Family Farm Collaborative Path conducted relevant research in Longquanyi District, Shuangliu District, Chengdu City, Xuzhou District of Yibin City and Cuiping District of Yibin City from January 15th to January 29th, aiming to analyze the cooperative relationship between family farms and other new agricultural business entities, the current situation of green development and the existing problems.

The team adopts the practice mode of "deep ploughing", with field investigation as the main line, issuing survey questionnaires as the means, relying on survey data, led by teachers, providing assistance from local agriculture and rural bureaus, and fully discussing and dividing labor within the team, and finally completing the field research work on the collaborative path of green development of family farms in our province.

The question of the times: green agriculture "improves quality and efficiency".

In response to the call of national policies and the green development plan, 11 quantitative indicators in 4 aspects were proposed, and the team fully considered the issue of "improving quality and efficiency" of green agriculture when making the questionnaire, and revised and improved it under the guidance of teachers. This questionnaire not only highlights the interest linkage mechanism and choices between family farms in different production links and other new agricultural operators, but also fully understands the preferences and behaviors of family farms in adopting green production technologies.

Exploring the realities of various places: family farms "carry the weight forward".

As the basic unit of agricultural production, family farms play an irreplaceable role in promoting rural economic development and realizing the green transformation of agriculture. Based on this premise, the team consulted relevant materials and listened to the suggestions of local agriculture and rural bureaus, and went to family farms in various regions to conduct field research to understand their future development trajectory and direction. In the on-site inspection of Hengli Family Farm in Yongan Town, Shuangliu District, Xinyue Family Farm in Fenxi Town, Xuzhou District, Yibin City, we were immersed in the scene, intuitively felt and learned advanced green agricultural technology and business model. In in-depth interviews with farmers and family members, we listened carefully and asked and documented in detail about the current situation and problems of the family farm.

Draw a blueprint for the future: the road to development "follow the trend".

Taking Zhang Zhengming's family farm in Cuiping District, Yibin City as a typical example, we conducted in-depth interviews with farmers and invited them to fill out questionnairesIt is understood that there is a close cooperative relationship between family farms and other new agricultural business entities, which not only promotes the sharing of resources and technology, but also facilitates the marketing of family farm agricultural products. Mr. Zhang emphasized that the distribution of benefits and risks is a key issue for family farms to consider in their external cooperation. In addition, family farms have adopted a variety of innovative strategies in promoting green agriculture, which has improved production efficiency and brought multiple benefits. However, a series of problems, such as the difficulty of obtaining funds and the pressure of market competition, have become the shackles for family farms to achieve green agricultural development. This may also be a feasible path and a common problem for many family farms to achieve green agricultural development. In the future, we will continue to practice and further develop the new cooperation model of family farms, and deeply clarify the development direction of green agriculture in the broad field.

This research activity is inseparable from the ardent guidance of teachers, the active help of local agriculture and rural bureaus, the eager response of family farms, and the tacit cooperation and mutual help of all members of the team. The successful completion of this practice reflects the support and encouragement of the first institution to young students, demonstrates the conscientiousness and meticulousness of all Sichuan farmers, promotes the research on the collaborative mechanism and realization path of green development of new agricultural business entities, and carries forward the enduring spirit of Sichuan Agricultural University.
