On the same day, the Chinese Cultural Center building in Bucharest was decorated with red lanterns, Chinese knots, window flowers, New Year paintings and other elaborate Spring Festival decorations, which filled the Chinese Cultural Center with a strong New Year flavor, attracting nearly 200 Romanian people to participate in the celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year.

The intangible cultural heritage master from Quanzhou City demonstrated the production skills of Jiangjia walking puppet head carving, Anxi bamboo and rattan weaving, watertight bulkhead blessing boat, and Quanzhou tin carving. The Quanzhou lantern and paper engraving experience is full of fun, attracting visitors to queue up and wait to experience the exquisite lantern and paper carving works in person. After the intangible cultural heritage experience, Quanzhou artists performed dance, marionettery, nanyin, gaojia opera, liyuan opera and martial arts performances, and the scene applauded continuously.
The Bucharest Qingtian Association specially prepared special delicacies such as Qingtian noodle dumplings, hoofs, sugar cakes and other special delicacies for the event, and everyone sent the on-site noodle dumplings into the steamer, full of anticipation to taste the traditional Chinese food made by themselves, and the steaming Chinese food set off the festive atmosphere.

Alex, a Romanian Chinese culture enthusiast, said that he has always been interested in the Chinese New Year, but he has never experienced it in person, and this "Walk into the Center for the New Year" activity has satisfied his curiosity, especially the intangible cultural heritage experience, which has opened his eyes.
The Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival in China. In order to allow the Romanian people to experience the Chinese New Year culture up close, the Chinese Cultural Center in Bucharest specially planned and held this cultural activity of "Entering the Center for the New Year", which also kicked off the 2024 "Happy New Year" series of activities of the Chinese Cultural Center.
