The function of the air supply and exchange system of the single-cylinder diesel engine is to supply fresh air on time and remove the exhaust gas in time according to the working cycle requirements of the diesel engine.
The ventilation system is mainly composed of an air filter, an air intake branch, an air distribution mechanism, an exhaust pipe and a silent fire extinguisher.
The function of the diesel supply system is to spray the diesel fuel with constant pressure and quantitative cleanness into the combustion chamber with good atomization quality according to the working requirements of the diesel engine, and make it mix with the air quickly and evenly for combustion. The diesel supply system is mainly composed of fuel tank, primary filter, oil pipe, fine filter, fuel injection pump, high-pressure oil pipe, fuel injector and governor.
The function of the lubrication system is to provide clean lubricating oil to each friction surface, reduce the wear of parts and the loss of friction power, as well as sealing, cooling, cleaning and anti-corrosion. The lubrication system is mainly composed of oil pan, oil filter, oil pump, oil pressure indicator and oil dipstick.
The function of the cooling system is to take away the heat of the high-temperature parts in time, so that the diesel engine can work at the most suitable temperature. There are two types of cooling methods for small diesel engines: water cooling and air cooling, and evaporative water cooling is generally used. It has a water level indicator composed of water tank filling, funnel water level indicator, body water jacket and cylinder head water jacket, etc., which are used to indicate the amount of cooling water. Some small single-cylinder diesel engines use forced circulation water cooling, and this diesel engine adds a circulating pump and radiator. Small single-cylinder diesel engines also use forced air cooling, which is mainly composed of heat sinks, fans, air deflectors, fixing plates, etc.
There are two starting modes for small single-cylinder diesel engines, hand start and electric start. The hand crank starting device consists of a flywheel start, a crank handle and a decompression mechanism. The electric start device is composed of a starter, a generator, a voltage regulator, a battery and a key switch, and the emergence of a single-cylinder diesel engine has brought a lot of convenience to our daily life and production!
