From November 10th to 11th, 2020, the "2nd Boao High-end Swine Industry Science and Technology Forum" was held in Dongyu Island Hotel, Boao Forum for Asia, Hainan. Academician Wu Changxin of China Agricultural University, Academician Chen Huanchun of Huazhong Agricultural University, Academician Yin Yulong of the Institute of Ecological Agriculture of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and three industry heavyweight academicians came in person; A number of outstanding experts in the industry, domestic large-scale pigs, and leaders of related enterprises made important sharing.

2020 is the first year of the ban on pig resistance, and it is also a critical year for the recovery of pig production capacity after the baptism of African swine fever. The Boao high-end swine industry science and technology forum meeting focused on pig breeding, prohibition of antibiotic resistance, and non-plague and other swine disease prevention and control, and the content was wonderful.

As a leading provider of overall solutions for animal disease laboratories, Guanmu Biotech participated in the conference with SLAN24P fluorescent PCR instrument, nucleic acid extraction kit, and fluorescence quantitative PCR kit (including multiple products such as porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome, multiple identification of porcine diarrhea, and swine foot-and-mouth disease Seneca).

Crown herding creatures

At the meeting, Chen Huanchun, academician of Huazhong Agricultural University, shared the report on the current situation and prevention and control strategy of swine diseases in China, and made a systematic overview of the current situation of swine diseases in China and the prevention and control of swine diseases.

Academician Chen first introduced the serious impact of emerging and sudden zoonotic diseases on the pig industry.

The outbreak of African swine fever in China in August 2018 led to a 27% decrease in the national pig inventory in the fourth quarter of 2019 compared with the fourth quarter of 20185%。With the gradual deepening of the understanding of biosecurity, pig production capacity will begin to recover in 2020, breeding sows and pig herds will grow in parallel, and the rehabilitation and expansion cases of large groups will be more and more successful, but the construction of non-plague prevention and control and biosecurity system of small and medium-sized pig farms still needs to be strengthened.

At present, diarrheal disease is still an important infectious disease that threatens the healthy production of pig herds, Seneca Valley virus, new circovirus type 3, circovirus 2D subtype, genotype pseudorabies virus, type 13 Haemophilus parasuis and other epidemics in China, these are often in the epidemic, old diseases and new epidemics, bringing more and more challenges to the pig industry, biosecurity prevention and control, scientific managementPurification and **is the only way to solve it.

At present, the instability of pig farms, less sows, more piglets die, and slow fattening pigs are the main factors affecting the profitability of pig farms, and the prevention and control of African swine fever, reproductive disorders, systemic diseases, digestive diseases and respiratory diseases, these major diseases, related problems will be easily solved, but African swine fever virus has strong resistance, diverse transmission routes, resulting in a wide variety of pathogens of the three major systemic diseases in pig farms, which is one of the difficulties in the prevention and control of disease in pig farms.

Academician Chen shared with us the results of the pathogen detection and serological detection of major clinical swine diseases in his laboratory from 2019 to June 2020:

1. PRRSV, PCV2 and MHP are the main pathogens that cause reproductive disorders and respiratory diseases in pig herds, and CSFV, PRV and PPV cannot be ignored.

2. Porcine epidemic diarrhea, infectious gastroenteritis, rotavirus, and delta coronavirus are the main pathogens causing digestive diseases in pig herds, especially the detection rate of rotavirus has increased compared with previous years.

3. Serological testing, 33,299 serum samples were monitored for CSFV, PRV, PRRSV, PCV-2, FMDV, PPV, and JEV antibodies, except for JEV, the positive rate of antibodies to other diseases was more than 80%, and the positive rate of PRV-GE in clinical samples in 2019 was 23%, basically showing a downward trend.

The implementation of the anti-resistance policy and the non-plague epidemic have paid more and more attention to biosecurity, do a good job in biosecurity prevention and control, establish an early warning and forecasting mechanism for African swine fever and the three major systemic diseases, move the epidemic prevention and control window forward, and pig farms will have more initiative (biosecurity, monitoring and diagnosis, vaccination, drugs**).

Finally, Academician Chen summarized the "16-character policy" for the prevention and control of swine diseases in China, and officially included purification ** in the major policy of swine disease prevention and control in China

Diagnosis is clear**Clear, Immunity has a number of purification**

Crown Pastoral Perspective

As Academician Chen said, the detection rate of rotavirus has increased significantly this year. Guanmu Easy Inspection has prepared Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Porcine Infectious Gastroenteritis Porcine Rotavirus Triple Real-Time Fluorescence PCR Detection Kit and Porcine Rotavirus Real-Time Fluorescence PCR Detection Kit for you, which can quickly identify a variety of viruses that cause diarrhea.

With the improvement of the level of biosecurity, the purification conditions for major swine diseases are fully mature, and large-scale breeding enterprises can start to promote relevant work while doing a good job in non-plague prevention and control.
