In July 1993, the Art Troupe of the Ministry of Radio and Television was ordered to perform in Taiwan, including Huang Hong, a regular guest of the Spring Festival Gala, and Ni Ping, one of the pillars of ** TV station, and other well-known figures.
However, their mission is not limited to performance, but also has a special mission - to meet Zhang Xueliang, the major commander of the Northeast Army. The name Zhang Xueliang, known to everyone, is a general who has been recorded in the history books, and he is also a general who has been imprisoned for most of his life and is depressed.
Huang Hong shouted "eighty" with a "sledgehammer" on the stage of the Spring Festival Gala, but met with the characters in the history books, such a picture is unbelievable, and some people even questioned: Is Zhang Xueliang still alive?
In the process of getting along, Huang Hong asked Zhang Xueliang to write a paragraph for the people in his hometown. Although Zhang Xueliang chatted happily with Huang Hong and others, his face suddenly became solemn, and he only wrote his name in the end.
This makes people wonder what doubts Zhang Xueliang has? Why did he only write his own name?
Zhang Xueliang, played by Huang Hong, is not only a young marshal in the ** period, but also a politician, and his legendary experience is remembered by history. During his *** period, any bold behavior could attract widespread attention from Fengtian City, and even be known throughout the country.
But such a son-in-law took over the Northeast Army, which is reminiscent"Qin II died"The fate. However, the speed at which Zhang Xueliang has transformed from a military strategist is amazing.
He entered the Northeast Army as a soldier in 1917, without the help of his father, and in 1919 he entered the Army Lecture Hall of the Three Eastern Provinces to study artillery and graduated with the first grade.
He earned all this by his own efforts. Such an experience is admirable and gives people a deeper understanding of his military talents.
Zhang Zuolin adheres to Zhang Zuolin's personality, if Zhang Xueliang can't govern the army, he will directly let Zhang Xueliang study by his side, but this time Zhang Zuolin sent Zhang Xueliang into the army.
In just three years, Zhang Xueliang grew from a small soldier in the Feng army to the commander of the Northeast Army, and carried out army reform with Zhang Zuolin's permission. Zhang Xueliang's military talent is undoubted, but he did not have the opportunity to fully display it until he was old.
After Zhang Zuolin was killed by the Japanese in Huanggutun, Zhang Xueliang took over the Northeast Army, and he was also forced to be involved in the political whirlpool at this time. Unlike many warlords, Zhang Xueliang had clear political opinions, and his most admirable thing was his unity of thought and firm opinions.
Although Zhang Zuolin had enough conditions to let ***, neither he nor Zhang Zuolin did so, even if his actions were restricted by the Kuomintang, Zhang Xueliang did not choose to let ***, otherwise he would really become a sinner of the nation.
Before Zhang Xueliang changed banners in the Northeast, there were proposals to make him independent, including the ambitious Japanese. The Japanese hoped to use this to make it easier to invade and occupy Northeast China, but Zhang Xueliang did not accept this suggestion, his goal was to keep Northeast China, believing that although Northeast China could not be in his hands, it must be under Chinese control.
However, on September 18, 1931, the Japanese launched the September 18 Incident, and Zhang Xueliang was undecided on the question of whether to resist. He tried to contact the Kuomintang base camp in Nanjing, but he did not expect that the Kuomintang base camp made him adopt a policy of non-resistance.
Zhang Xueliang and the other Japanese shot first, but the Japanese seemed to be sure that Zhang Xueliang would not shoot first if they did not shoot. As a result, Zhang Xueliang was forced out of the Northeast and lost the Northeast without firing a shot, which caused an uproar across the country.
Zhang Xueliang was caught in the political whirlpool, and the idea was from the Kuomintang, but Zhang Xueliang was caught in the middle. There were many complaints within the Northeast Army, and Zhang Xueliang did not dare to face his soldiers or the people of the Northeast.
During that time, the question that Zhang Xueliang was most afraid of hearing was: "Young marshal, when can we go back to the Northeast?" ”
Zhang Xueliang lost half of his life of freedom for the return of the Northeast. Chiang Kai-shek, however, used the excuse that "if you want to go outside, you must first settle the inside," and he didn't care about the sufferings of the people in Northeast China. In the face of Zhang Xueliang's questioning, Chiang Kai-shek made a ridiculous suggestion to let Zhang Xueliang take the Northeast Army to fight the Red Army.
At this time, the Northeast had been lost for 5 years, and the Northeast Army led by Zhang Xueliang had hardly fought the Japanese army. How could the Northeast Army be willing to fight a civil war for Chiang Kai-shek again?
The propaganda of the Red Army even caused some Northeast Army to defect to our army in formation, which made Chiang Kai-shek angry and went to Lintong in Xi'an to supervise the battle.
At a time when the nation was in crisis, the anti-Japanese sentiment of the Chinese people was unprecedentedly high, and our party actively promoted anti-Japanese demonstrations, and patriotic students even took to the streets to raise their voices of common resistance against Japan.
However, Chiang Kai-shek turned a deaf ear to this, and instead ordered the Kuomintang to severely suppress the demonstrations, which dealt a heavy blow to the people's anti-Japanese enthusiasm. Among them, the students of Northeastern University were emotional when they learned the news of Chiang Kai-shek's arrival in Lintong, Xi'an, and organized a large-scale student march, hoping to have the opportunity to pay tribute to Chiang Kai-shek.
However, Chiang Kai-shek even asked Zhang Xueliang to deal with this matter, and even ordered Zhang Xueliang to shoot at the students if necessary, so that Zhang Xueliang could deal with and solve this matter, instead of letting Zhang Xueliang directly suppress the demonstration.
Zhang Xueliang himself felt ashamed of this group of students, but now Chiang Kai-shek let himself shoot at this group of students, which obviously showed that Chiang Kai-shek did not care about anti-Japanese affairs, which made Zhang Xueliang very disappointed.
Zhang Xueliang encountered the students marching on December 9, 1936, and there were incidents of military police shooting at students in China, but the students still resisted steadfastly, shouting slogans such as "Chinese do not fight Chinese" and "The Northeast Army will fight back to the northeast to recover lost territory."
This made Zhang Xueliang feel ashamed, but he still came out to dissuade the students. Eventually, he promised in front of the crowd that he would respond to the students within a week, so that the march stopped the march towards the Huaqing Palace, where Chiang Kai-shek lived.
As a result, Zhang Xueliang decided that if Chiang Kai-shek did not resist the Japanese, he would take the necessary measures. On December 11, he again asked Chiang Kai-shek to send troops to resist the Japanese, but Chiang Kai-shek did not change his position and refuted Zhang Xueliang.
Later, he advised Zhang Xueliang to consider fighting the Red Army. Disappointed, Zhang Xueliang left the Huaqing Palace and found General Yang Hucheng, who also hoped that Chiang Kai-shek would resist Japan, and launched the Xi'an Incident in the early morning of December 12.
Xi'an Incident: The joint efforts of all parties contributed to a peaceful settlement, but Chiang Kai-shek's retaliation ensued, and Zhang Xueliang was placed under house arrest. Although the Taiwanese authorities' control over Zhang Xueliang was reduced after 1988, his freedom remained restricted.
It wasn't until 1990 that Zhang Xueliang fully regained his freedom, but he still faced some restrictions. In 1991, Zhang Xueliang planned to go to the United States to visit relatives and return to his hometown, and also planned to move his father Zhang Zuolin's coffin back to Haicheng, but the Taiwan authorities blocked it again.
Zhang Xueliang finally realized that the so-called freedom was only superficial, and he was still under the control of the Kuomintang and could not do as he pleased. Despite the strong support of our leaders for his return to the mainland and to his homeland, this has added many difficulties.
Zhang Xueliang, who was restricted, had to temporarily give up the idea of returning to the Northeast, but the mainland never gave up his expectation of returning. In 1993, Zhang Xueliang accepted the position of honorary president of Northeastern University and honorary chairman of Harbin Institute of Technology, and began to promote harmony, realizing that reunification is an inevitable trend, and he is happy to become a promoter.
In July of the same year, the Art Troupe of the Ministry of Radio and Television of China led a performance team dominated by Huang Hong, Ni Ping and others to perform in Taiwan.
Huang Hong is originally from Shandong, but grew up in the northeast. Zhang Xueliang is his hero, he often hears people talk about Zhang Xueliang's deeds, and he has also been to Zhang Xueliang's mansion many times. Seeing Zhang Xueliang, Huang Hong's heart was full of excitement.
He used to struggle with how to address Zhang Xueliang, but in the end he chose to start with "Uncle Zhang, hello, juniors wish you a long life!" "Come and say hello. At that time, Huang Hong had appeared on the stage of the Spring Festival Gala four times in a row, and he had a psychological quality beyond ordinary people, but when he saw Zhang Xueliang, he still felt nervous.
Zhang Xueliang's words calmed his nervousness, and he introduced Zhang Xueliang to the new stage form "sketch", and performed a paragraph, which caused Zhang Xueliang to laugh.
He also mentioned the two-person turn, and seeing Zhang Xueliang's high interest, he sang a paragraph on the spot, which made Zhang Xueliang even happier.
Zhang Xueliang was imprisoned for 54 years, during which time he was also coerced off the coast of the mainland of the motherland, and he knew very little about the outside world. When Zhang Xueliang's mood was extremely high, Huang Hong asked: "Uncle Zhang, the folks in the Northeast miss you very much, I don't know when you can go home to see?" ”
Hearing this question, Zhang Xueliang's mood suddenly sank, and he was silent for a long time, and finally said: "My wife is not in good health, and she is still undergoing surgery in the United States." ”
Huang Hong understood that Zhang Xueliang had other reasons in his heart, and then said: "Uncle Zhang, can you write a paragraph for the people in your hometown?" Zhang Xueliang wanted to say something, but in the end he picked up the pen and wrote his name on the paper: Zhang Xueliang.
I'm old, and my eyes are not good, so I can only write my own name, and you can tell me the rest. Zhang Xueliang naturally misses his hometown, and he also feels very guilty about the people in his hometown, he wants to go back even if he can't settle down, but he can't go back and has no chance to go back.
On October 14, 2001, at 8:50 Beijing time, Zhang Xueliang died at Straubie Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the age of 101.
Although Zhang Xueliang has passed away, his thoughts and guilt, as well as his deep love for his hometown, will always remain in people's hearts.
