In the fierce competition at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships, the Chinese team has made historic achievements in Doha. In the men's and women's 4 100m freestyle relay final, the Chinese team won the gold medal with an outstanding performance of 3:21.18, which not only won them the highest honor, but also set a new Asian record set in the preliminaries.

The victory was particularly special because it broke the pattern of alternating victories between Australia and the United States since the event was established at the 2015 World Championships.
