The song is complete, and the vain is straight;
If you are low, you will be profitable, and if you are disadvantages, you will be new;
Less is gained, more is confused.
It is a saint holding one, for the world.
I don't see myself, so I know;Not self-sufficiently, so it is revealed;
If you don't cut yourself, you have merit;Not self-conscious, so long.
The husband is indisputable, so the world can not fight with it.
The so-called "song is complete" in ancient times, is it a lie?
Sincerely.
Compromise will be preserved, and resignation will be extended;
The low-lying will be filled, and the old will be renewed;
Take less and you will gain, and if you covet more, you will be confused.
Therefore, people with the Tao adhere to this principle as a paradigm for the affairs of the world.
Not self-ostentation, so significant;
Not self-righteous, so it is clear;
If you don't boast about yourself, you can have merit;
Don't be proud of yourself, so you can last a long time.
It is precisely because there is no quarrel that no one in the world can compete with it.
Is the ancients an empty phrase that "if you compromise it, you will be preserved"?
It does preserve.
The first three sentences are about objective facts, and only with the existence of variable quantities will and can they change. It's easy to understand.
Fourth sentence".It is a saint holding one, for the world. "This is the following four".Not self-consciousThe meaning of the opening chapter is how the saint set an example for the people of the worldThese are the four below."Not self-conscious
Four".Not self-consciousThe general purpose is to exhort people to guard against arrogance and arrogance, and not to be complacent. There are people outside the world, and there is a sky outside the sky.
If you understand the four from the perspective of a "saint".Not self-consciousThere will be some foolish thoughts among them.
If we understand the four from the perspective of "ordinary people".Not self-consciousThat is indeed a good word of gold and stone, and a magic weapon to protect oneself in this complicated world.
The husband is indisputable, so the world can not fight with it. So this is to fight or not to fight, which also reflects the way of the gentle transformation of yin and yang. In fact, there is no clear boundary between "fighting" and "not fighting", and the relationship between them also changes with time, space, and people.
Therefore, when reading the Tao Te Ching, you must not be dead-eyed, and you can't be dead-eyed when you are a person and do things, since the "grievance" is for "preservation", then what is "preservation" for?
