Who is the woman Kangxi really loves

Emperor Kangxi (the fourth emperor of the Qing Dynasty, named Ai Xinjueluo Xuanye) had many concubines and empresses during his lifetime, but there is no clear answer in historical records and folklore about the woman he really loved. Emperor Kangxi's marriage and love life, like most emperors in ancient times, was largely constrained by political marriages and royal etiquette.

Among Emperor Kangxi's many concubines, several were particularly favored and valued by him:

1.Empress Xiaochengren (Hesheri): The wife of Emperor Kangxi and his first empress. Empress Xiaochengren died in the early days of Emperor Kangxi's accession to the throne, but she had a high status in Emperor Kangxi's heart, and Emperor Kangxi had deep feelings for her.

2.Concubine Rong (Tong Jiashi): Concubine Rong was one of Emperor Kangxi's favorite concubines, and she was particularly favored in Emperor Kangxi's later years. Concubine Rong gave birth to several children for Emperor Kangxi, including the famous crown prince Yinren.

3.Su Malagu: She is the maid of Emperor Kangxi's mother, the Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang, and she grew up with Emperor Kangxi since she was a child and has a close relationship. Su Malagu became one of the concubines of Emperor Kangxi after his accession to the throne, but her status was not high and she was deposed in the later years of Emperor Kangxi.

4.Baori Longmei: She is a Khalkha Mongolian princess who became the concubine of Emperor Kangxi due to a political marriage. After Emperor Kangxi set out to defeat Geerdan, Baori Longmei took the initiative to dedicate herself and returned to the prairie in order to thank Emperor Kangxi for his help.

Emperor Kangxi's love life was complex and changeable, and was affected by the social environment, political needs, and personal emotions at the time. Therefore, it is not only difficult to determine which woman Emperor Kangxi really loved, but also may not correspond to the complexity of historical facts. In the study of history, it is not often possible to simply reduce the love life of an emperor to "true love" for a particular person.
