It's late but coming, Minecraft 24w06a is a snapshot worth talking about, because in this version of the snapshot, things like Wind Bomb, Wolf, and Armadillo have all been made huge adjustments. In particular, Mojang made final adjustments to the armadillo creature. Over the next period of time, 1Update 21 will focus on "Wolf Armor".
The final version of the "Armadillo" feature has been released!
Snapshot 24W06a has released two major updates for armadillos, one of which is that the armadillo's behavior AI has been adjusted, and the armadillo will now curl up immediately when it takes damage, using the armor on its body to block damage. Previously, it was widely criticized that armadillos would not defend themselves with armor after being injured, but would run around.
Second; The rest of the curling stance has been adjusted, and the curled armadillo no longer leaks its head, feet, or tail, but instead curls up in a way similar to that of a shulker.
Interestingly, because the armor obscures the armadillo's eyes, the armadillo will occasionally pop its head out to observe its surroundings while curling up.
When the armadillo has made these two trait adjustments, it means that there will be no major changes to the current armadillo. The development of Armadillo-based traits is largely over. This includes how armadillo scales fall off, how armadillos spawn, how armadillos curl up, how they reproduce, and more. The whole armadillo's behavioral system has been established.
Once the armadillo is complete, the next update will focus on the wolf armor.
ps: Wait, what about the "termites" in the food chain downstream of the armadillo? Mojang: Don't disappoint!
After taming, the wolf's health has been changed to 40!
A wild wolf with 8 health. When tamed, the wolf has 20 health. After snapshot 24w06a, the tamed wolf's health was changed to 40.
Due to the health adjustment, the default damage reduction effect has been removed, and now the wolf will take 50% more damage, such as damage from players and damage from arrows.
Feeding wolves now restores twice as much health.
It can be clearly felt that Mojang is already preparing for the update of the wolf armor. As we've talked about before, Wolf Armor will definitely bring a new update to the "Wolf" combat style, so it will also bring a complete change to the wolf, which will lead to a more interesting combat update mechanic.
It can be seen that the wolf is in 1The survivability of 21 is bound to be greatly improved. I'm starting to look forward to the famous scene of Minecraft taking wolves to battle in the future.
PS: It's better to change the wolf's pathfinding AI again, don't be so easy to find death next to the creeper, and don't fall into the magma so easily, or get stuck in the block, it's perfect.
Wind Bomb, a brand new combat tool!
The Whirlwind now drops 4-6 Wind Bombs when killed by the player, and as of this point, Wind Bombs have no loot acquisition and no crafting recipe. (I think so, if the wind bomb can be crafted, wouldn't the wind elemental block that synthesize the wind bomb be added soon?) )
Wind Bombs can be fired by players and dispensers with a cooldown of 05 seconds, used as a tool to fight;
The Wind Bullet thrown by the player's hand has a stronger knockback effect and a smaller area of effect than the Wind Bullet launched by the Whirlwind.
Wind Bomb, which reduces the player's fall damage. When a player is hit by a Wind Bullet in mid-air, the distance of the player's fall damage will be reset.
Proper use of wind bombs allows the player to "take off" and leap to higher and farther places.
In other words, the wind bomb of "Minecraft" really brought the "wind element" to Minecraft. As for the use of this kind of wind, there are actually many interesting ways to play and try, such as the wind bomb can change the trajectory of the projectile, the wind bomb can blow away the lingering potion to deal with the dragon's breath, and so on.
So Minecraft 121 is still a fairly anticipated version, and it would be perfect if it could be renovated in the savannah by the way.
