There are different periods of a relationship, and there is a possibility of breaking up in these different periods. Some people think that it is the difference in the outlook on love that causes it, some people think that it is the loss of freshness, and some people think that it is difficult to operate and maintain the three views together and break up.
Despite the fact that love is a highly complex and diverse emotion, psychological researchers have used ingenious experiments to discover the occurrence of love fading experiences.
A new study, published in Psychological Science, investigates how couples experience love through two experimental focuses (Bharg**a, 2023).
In the first experiment, 3,867 volunteers were asked to respond to questions about time use, pleasure and emotional experiences, and well-being.
In the second experiment, participants who reported feeling love were asked to answer more questions about the types and goals of love.
The findings provide some interesting insights into how we experience love:
1.Companion love is the most common type of love (53.)3%), followed by love for their children (20.).9%), love for other family members (138%）。
2.Women feel love more easily than men.
3.Men are more likely to be with their partners when they feel love than women.
4.Women experience love for their children more often than men.
5.Couples who have been married for a longer period of time experience less romantic love.
6.The fading of romantic love is stronger in women than in men.
7.After marriage, crush regression is more intense in women than in men.
8.If you are separated for a while, the feeling of love for your partner increases.
9.Regardless of gender, people who feel more love are happier and have a better mood.
No matter how happy the love is, our experience will gradually become stable and dull. However, the more small and precious moments of love there are in the details of each other, the better the relationship will be stronger.
