Amazon UK publishes the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements policy, which is announced as follows:

Policy OverviewThis program policy applies to products sold on Amazon UK** that are subject to the UK's EPR requirements.

Under the Packaging Waste (Data Reporting) (England) Regulations 2023, the Packaging Waste (Data Collection and Reporting) (Wales) Regulations 2023, the Packaging Waste (Data Reporting) (Scotland) Regulations 2023, the Packaging Waste (Data Reporting) (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2023 (hereinafter referred to as "Existing UK regulationsand the anticipated Producer Responsibility (Packaging and Packaging Waste) Regulations 2024 (collectively, "them").UK RegulationsAmazon is deemed to be responsible for EPR purposes in the UK and has put in place packaging that is the packaging of products sold on Amazon UK** by a seller not established in the UK, or unfilled packaging that is sold by a seller not established in the UK to a business that is not a large producer (as defined in the UK Regulations). Here, a person is considered to be "established in the UK" to mean their registered office or, if they have no registered office, their head office or principal place of business in the UK, or if they have a branch office or mailing address in the UK. A large producer is a producer (or part of a group of businesses that meet these criteria) who has a turnover of more than £2 million in the previous financial year and has processed more than 50 tonnes of packaging or packaging material. Amazon may also be deemed responsible for EPR purposes in terms of other product categories in the future (referred to as "EPR Applicable Products

If you have established a business in the UK, you may be considered a producer (as defined by the UK Regulations) and therefore subject to the EPR requirements of the UK Regulations within your own means. It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with your EPR obligations. At Amazon's request, you will provide evidence that you are complying with any applicable EPR obligations.

If Amazon's EPR obligations fall outside the scope of the currently anticipated UK regulations and some work is reasonably required of your involvement, you shall provide the necessary engagement upon Amazon's reasonable request.

Data ReportingAmazon is subject to various data collection and data reporting obligations under UK regulations. Therefore, if you (as a seller) do not have a business established in the UK, but sell EPR-eligible products to UK customers on Amazon UK**, Amazon will:

Prepare relevant collective systems (known as "Producer Responsibility Organizations") as determined by AmazonRequested claim reports about your EPR-covered products, such as quantity (number of units or product weight), product type (e.g., refrigerator, baby clothes, chairs), product attributes (e.g., material, size), and other relevant information. Amazon will use the information provided in the product listings (e.g., the weight and dimensions of the products to which the EPR applies) and third-party modeling to prepare these reports; And.

Report to a qualified producer responsibility organization as determined by Amazon. The frequency of reporting may vary depending on the category of the product to which the relevant EPR applies and the regulations of the Producer Responsibility Organization.

Amazon may ask you to provide further information about the products covered by the EPR that you sell on Amazon UK**.

The expected precise data collection and data reporting obligations under the Producer Responsibility (Packaging and Packaging Waste) Regulations 2024 may differ from those applicable under the current UK legislation. We will update this program policy to reflect any material changes. If you fail to provide Amazon with any further information requested, and Amazon is subsequently subject to a fine or any other penalty, Amazon shall have the right to demand the corresponding amount and any other compensation from you. You may also be prohibited from selling to UK customers on Amazon UK**.

Ecological contribution and service feeUnder UK regulations, Amazon is required to pay an EPR financial contribution (") if a seller sells to UK customers through Amazon UK** without establishing a business in the UKEcological contributionorFees(e.g., including annual disposal fees and administrative fees). The Ecological Contribution will be paid to the relevant Producer Responsibility Organization selected by Amazon for the treatment of EPR-applicable product waste generated from products sold through Amazon UK**, which is received in the UK. These ecological contributions are calculated taking into account factors such as sales on Amazon UK** in the previous year.

If you (as a seller) do not have a business established in the UK and sell to customers in the UK, Amazon may charge you a fee by debiting any payment account you hold with Amazon Payments Europe and/or Amazon Payments UK***, or by charging your credit card or bank account on file. Amazon may charge the full amount of any EPR contribution or amount to be paid in connection with your sale on Amazon UK**, plus a service fee, which is charged according to the rate plan on the rate schedule. Amazon may elect to collect these amounts at any time, including if Amazon is required to pay an additional amount in excess of the amount originally charged to the seller after a recalculation by the regulator.
