A few days ago, the launching ceremony of the 2024 "Spring Warm Migrant Workers" service action, sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and co-organized by the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, was held in Beijing. It is understood that more than 100 representatives of migrant workers and relevant employers in Beijing's construction, security, sanitation, express delivery, housekeeping and other industries participated in the event.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and other 10 departments recently jointly issued the "Notice on Carrying out the 2024 "Spring Warm Migrant Workers" Service Action (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice") to make arrangements for the service guarantee of migrant workers during the Spring Festival. The "Notice" clarifies a series of measures, including carrying out various special employment service activities, guiding migrant workers to return to their hometowns and jobs at staggered times, and maintaining migrant workers' wages and remuneration.
According to reports, before and after the Spring Festival, Beijing will take multiple measures at the same time, combined with the "Spring Breeze Action" to organize nearly 1,000 online and offline recruitment activities, make every effort to stabilize employment, ensure employment, and go deep into rural areas, communities, enterprises, etc., to carry out condolences and blessings, folk performances, cultural counseling and exchanges and other activities, enrich the cultural life of the festival, so that the majority of migrant workers can return to their hometowns and jobs safely and smoothly during the Spring Festival, and stay in Beijing with warmth and peace of mind.
At the same time, through the timely and full distribution of relief funds to eligible migrant workers in difficulty, visits and condolences to migrant workers who are unemployed, living in difficulty, local festivals, disaster-stricken areas and other migrant workers, to provide new employment workers with five special services of "warmth, care, happiness, peace of mind, and love", and carry out volunteer service activities of "Youth Volunteering, Warm Way Home", to provide consultation and guidance, ticketing assistance, convenience and other services for migrant workers returning to their hometowns, and to solve the problems of employment, travel, and protection of rights and interests that migrant workers are concerned about.
In addition, in the "2023 Beijing Tree Selection of the Most Beautiful Migrant Worker Activity", after step-by-step recommendation, qualification review, evaluation and publicity and other procedures, the Beijing Migrant Worker Work Joint Conference Office selected 50 of the most beautiful migrant workers in Beijing for the first time, promoting the spirit of migrant workers in the new era, stimulating the enthusiasm of migrant workers for employment and entrepreneurship, guiding the majority of migrant workers to make greater contributions to the economic and social development of the capital, and making every effort to create a good atmosphere for the whole society to care for migrant workers.

Wang Peixin told reporters that through years of chef skills learning and on-the-job training, he has become the R&D director of Beijing Cuihualou Catering Management Group Co., Ltd., and has won the title of Chinese culinary master, intangible inheritor of Beijing cuisine and Beijing time-honored craftsman, and his living standard and economic income have been greatly improved. He said that under the guarantee of the service action of "Spring Warm Migrant Workers", he was able to stay in Beijing with peace of mind and prepare to go home with his colleagues to visit relatives in turn after the Spring Festival.
The relevant person in charge said at the event that he would strengthen the protection and care of the rights and interests of migrant workers by providing employment, training, travel and other services for migrant workers before and after the Spring Festival, so that the majority of migrant workers can spend a happy and peaceful festival.
