Talking about the cooperation with several martial arts masters, Sun Nuo said that the experience was unforgettable. The characters of the kung fu micro-movie are based on Huang Feihong, Huo Yuanjia, and Bruce Lee, hoping to show the spirit of Chinese martial arts that is inherited through exchanges and mutual learning. "What people didn't expect was that Huang Feihong, Huo Yuanjia, and Bruce Lee, all three of them are dragons, which is a very wonderful thing. Sun Nuo said.

In order to do a good job in the film, Sun Nuo can be described as "carefully selected" in terms of actors, choosing Wu Yue to play Huang Feihong, Fan Shaohuang to play Huo Yuanjia, and This Sha to play Bruce Lee.

Sun Nuo admitted that he personally admires Wu Yue very much and feels very lucky to be able to cooperate with him. I also learned a lot of things from him, including his creation of the characters, live interpretation, etc., which were very impressive. Fan Shaohuang once performed well in the movie "Ip Man", and he has his own understanding of both northern and southern martial arts. This Sha is a representative newcomer of the younger generation.

When Sun Nuo expresses himself through the language of the camera, he incorporates some martial arts displays that are different from the traditional sense. The story of "Fighting for Spring" involves "Master Huang", "Master Huo" and "Master Li", which are tributes to the three martial arts masters.

How do you pay homage to tradition, pay homage to the modern, and then look to the future?

Sun Nuo said that when designing, he prefers to reflect a kind of temperament of martial artists from the tradition, "My creative direction with Mr. Wu Yue is to combine 'Master Huang' with our traditional Chinese medicine to interpret it." ”

In order to shoot Master Huang well, the director team chose Deyang Confucian Temple for filming. "The main hall of the Deyang Confucian Temple is magnificent and very beautiful. Speaking of which, Sun Nuo praised again and again. Many fans who have watched the movie "Huang Feihong" feel that Master Huang's leg kung fu is amazing, Sun Nuo said that the kung fu micro-movie specially arranged a scene for Wu Yue to show him the leg technique of "Master Huang" as a tribute to Huang Feihong.

Fan Shaohuang's experience of practicing martial arts is even more unique. Sun Nuo hoped that he would combine the dragon dance and play the role as the heir of the Huo family. As the venue for "Master Huo", the scene also combined with Sichuan opera to change faces, and interpreted the appearance of "Master Huo" in this way of combining martial arts and local traditions.

This Sha plays the descendant of Bruce Lee. When paying tribute to tradition through new elements, Sun Nuo found that in fact, new things can be explored, such as dragon dances, people are running, and if they want to improve their speed, Sun Nuo combined roller skating.

It's easier said than done. Sun Nuo admits that this is a new presentation, an expression, that is, an improvement on the tradition, which may inspire some other martial arts enthusiasts, or some other roller skating enthusiasts, so that they can see a new way of interpretation.

This shooting was mainly filmed in Deyang, incorporating a lot of Deyang elements, and Sun Nuo was amazed by Deyang.

The cultural relics of the Temple of Literature are very textured, and their protection and furnishings are impressive. I was deeply impressed by the protection of culture and tradition by Deyang people. Sun Nuo said that it was his first time in Deyang. "After filming the kung fu micro-film, I began to like the city. ”

Sun Nuo said that if he had the opportunity, he would like to come to Deyang and use the well-preserved history and culture as materials for creation.
