As a traditional immigration country, New Zealand is very complete in terms of education and social welfare, and at present, if you want to immigrate to New Zealand quickly, there are two ways, one is the green list, and the other is the six-point system, thenHow to choose the immigration New Zealand green list and the six-point system? Here's what you know.
1. How to choose?
Regardless of whether you choose the Green List or the 6-point scale, the following conditions must be met:
Not more than 55 years of age.
Hold a bachelor's degree or above (subject to NZQA accreditation in New Zealand).
IELTS score 65 points and above (bachelor's degree or above in English-speaking countries is exempt from this requirement).
Meet New Zealand's character and health requirements.
1.Green List Immigration:
This pathway is targeted at the in-demand occupation category. If your occupation is on the green list, all you need to do is get an employer sponsor and submit a work visa application, after which you can wait for the approval in your home country.
2.6-point immigration:
This applies to non-in-demand occupations and is recommended for those who only have a master's degree or above. Employer support is required, and after working for the employer for one year, an application can be submitted onshore for approval.
Note: The Green List is the first time you get a New Zealand Resident Visa (RV), while the 6-point scale is the first time you get a work visa and then switch to an RV. Doctoral degree holders can apply for both work permit and RV.
After holding a New Zealand Resident Visa (RV) for two years, eligible applicants can apply for a New Zealand Permanent Resident Visa (PRV). If you have a PRV, you are eligible to apply for a permanent return visa, and you can apply for naturalisation after living in New Zealand for 5 years.
The key to success lies in employer certification. In order for an employer to sponsor an employee for a New Zealand Certified Employer Work Permit, their business must be certified as an Employer by Immigration New Zealand.
2. Occupations suitable for applying for the Green List:
Although there are more than 190 occupations on the official green list from Immigration New Zealand, there are not many occupations that can actually ensure a successful application. Occupations such as teachers, doctors and electrical engineers require New Zealand Skilled Occupation Registration Licences, which is difficult for most Chinese applicants to meet. Majors in the fields of construction engineering, ICT and multi** are more likely to be successful.
3. Is a master's degree or above more suitable for a 6-point system?
New Zealand Skilled Migration is mainly for highly skilled and academic talents, if your occupation is not on the green list, then academic qualifications become key, hold a master's degree and IELTS 65 points, after matching with a suitable employer, you can first get a work visa, and apply for an RV after working for the employer for one year. PhD holders can apply for both a work visa and an RV after being matched with a suitable employer.
