Wang Jiapeng, male, Han nationality, born in 1981, holds a double master's degree in political science and economics from the University of Oslo, Norway. He has held senior positions in several multinational companies, was the first Chinese mainland student admitted to UWC and is known as a "Chinese hero" in Norway.
He is currently the Executive Director of the International Council of UWC, the Board Member of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBDP) for Asia and Oceania, and the Dean of UWC Changshu Branch. He was also a deputy to the 13th and 14th National People's Congress.

1981: Born in China.
23 July 1993: Survived a plane crash but suffered serious injuries that resulted in a burst fracture of the lumbar vertebrae with paraplegia of both lower limbs.
1998: Won a full scholarship at the Nordic Red Cross United World College in Norway, becoming the first Chinese mainland student admitted to the school.
1999: Participated in the 36th International Para Ski Competition, won two gold medals.
