In China, the Communist Youth League (full name is the Communist Youth League of China) is a mass organization of advanced youth under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and its purpose is to unite and educate young people to fight for the cause of communism under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. Joining the Communist Youth League refers to officially becoming a member of the Communist Youth League, which is an important activity for many Chinese young people during their secondary school years.

For college students, if they do not join the Communist Youth League in middle school, they still have the opportunity to apply for the Communist Youth League after entering the university. Universities usually have a Youth League Committee (Komsomol Committee), which is responsible for the organization of the League and the development of its members. College students can learn about the relevant procedures and conditions of joining the group from the league organization of their college after enrollment.

Generally speaking, the following basic conditions need to be met to join the group:

1.Agree with the constitution of the Communist Youth League, be willing to participate in the activities of the League, implement the resolutions of the League, and abide by the discipline of the League.

2.There are two members of the group who act as introducers.

3.Good performance in study, work and social life, with a certain advanced nature.

The specific process of joining the group may include submitting an application for joining the group, participating in group classes, accepting the organization's inspection and evaluation, etc. If the applicant meets the conditions and passes the inspection, he or she can become a reserve member, and after a certain period of performance evaluation, he or she can become a regular member.

It is worth noting that membership is not mandatory, but based on personal will and recognition of the idea of the Komsomol. For college students, joining the group is not only an affirmation of their political identity, but also a platform for participating in social practice and service. Through the league organization, college students can participate in various cultural, scientific, technological, volunteer service and other activities to enrich campus life and improve personal ability.
