Prague University of Economics and Business (PUEB) (formerly: Prague University of Economics; Czech: Vysoká Kola Ekonomická v Praze, V E) is an economic- and business-oriented public university located in Prague, Czech Republic. It is the largest university in the fields of economics, business and information technology in the Czech Republic, with 14,000 students in bachelor's, master's, doctoral and MBA programs. It is considered the best business school in the Czech Republic and one of the best in Central and Eastern Europe. 
It is also part of the CEMS Global Alliance. Founded in 1919, Vysoká Kola Obchodní ("Business School") is a department of the Czech Technical University in Prague, specializing in wholesale**, banking, and the organization of industrial companies. In 1949, the Vysoká Kola Politick ch a Hospodá SK ch věd (University of Economics and Political Science) was founded, which was eventually renamed the University of Economics in 1953. Following the Velvet Revolution, the university underwent a major reform in 1989. In 2020, the international name of the Prague University of Economics was changed to Prague University of Economics and Business.
