Recently, the trade union of the mine rescue brigade organized volunteers to carry out volunteer service activities to learn from Lei Feng in the nursing home of Ya'erya Village, Yungang District, practicing the spirit of Lei Feng and promoting the new style of civilization through practical actions. 
During the event, volunteers delivered milk, fruits, canned food and other condolences to the elderly living there. They acted in groups, some with brooms in their hands, to sweep away the snow in the courtyard; Some of them carry cleaning tools to scrub the rooms where the elderly live, the indoor glass, and the facilities in the house. After more than an hour of joint efforts, the sanitary environment of the nursing home was completely renewed, and a clean and tidy living environment was created for the elderly. In addition, the volunteers also carried an electronic blood pressure monitor to measure the blood pressure of the elderly living there, and told the elderly to pay attention to their health and maintain a positive and optimistic attitude.
