The School of Foreign Chinese held a general meeting for the new semester

On the afternoon of February 29th, the new semester work meeting of the College of Foreign Chinese Languages of Chengdu University of Arts and Sciences was held in the main teaching building C214, which was attended by the party and government leaders of the college and the faculty and staff of the college, and the meeting was presided over by Su Linghan, deputy secretary of the general party branch of the college.

Secretary Su Linghan summarized the achievements made by the college in party building, school-enterprise cooperation, group learning, internationalization, enrollment and employment, and promotion in 2023, and also pointed out the difficulties faced by the college in internationalization and enrollment work, talked about a variety of measures to solve the problem, and asked the whole college to work together to complete the relevant work.

Lei Jie, assistant to the dean, reported on the teaching supervision, teaching practice and curriculum construction during the year. Yu Xia, assistant to the dean, reported on the year's teachers' publications, scientific research projects, teacher training and other related affairs. At the meeting, Yang Liu, secretary of administrative teaching, reported on the situation of teaching and the relevant requirements of schools and colleges for teaching arrangements in the new semester.

President Wang Weimin delivered a speech. He summarized the work of the college in 2023 in the four dimensions of "ideological and political guidance, system guarantee, teacher training drive, and scientific research assistance", and briefly introduced the main achievements of the college in the past year. He reiterated the school-running characteristics of the college of "ideological and political integration of curriculum and empowerment of information technology", and asked everyone to continue to carry out the quality improvement project of ideological and political work, deepen the ideological and political construction of foreign language courses, and carry forward the school-running characteristics of the college.
