As northerners, we are often attracted to the optimism, resourcefulness, and adventurous spirit of southerners. The southern region has a unique geography and historical opportunities, which gives them a leading edge at the starting line. First of all, the southern region has a dense network of rivers, fertile land and a pleasant climate, which provides ideal conditions for the development of agriculture and commerce. These advantages have made the south one of the economic and cultural centers of China in history, and have also brought more economic opportunities.
At the same time, families in the South have a more advantageous background. They are able to provide good educational resources and entrepreneurial opportunities for children to be exposed to the wider world from an early age. This family background advantage allows southerners to gain a firm foothold at the starting line of life, and it becomes easier to pursue their dreams.
However, as northerners, living in a relatively backward environment, it is difficult for us to access the resources and opportunities enjoyed by southerners.
