Ten countries in the United States and Europe jointly compete for control of the 6G standard? Foreig

Many users have not yet enjoyed the ultimate experience brought by 5G, and the 6G battle has quietly begun, and this time, the once far ahead of the strong and with enthusiasm and determination to want to be ashamed of the shame have been gearing up, wanting to compete for 6G control, but foreign media said: There is no chance for China in 6G!

In the 1-4G era in the past few decades, the core technology has been firmly in the hands of the West, and with technology licensing, they are like reapers, harvesting huge amounts of wealth around the world. However, the 5G era has completely changed, and Huawei stands out like a dark horse on the 5G track, and has been highly recognized by operators at home and abroad for its excellent technical strength, higher cost performance, and shorter construction period.

In addition, ZTE, another telecom giant, has successfully become the leader in the 5G telecommunications industry with the number of 5G patents accounting for 41% of China's 5G patents. Due to the absolute advantage of 5G in information confrontation and market dividends, the United States, which has tasted 3G and 4G dividends, is particularly jealous, so it began to cooperate with allies to impose crazy sanctions, not only refusing Huawei and ZTE to participate in the construction of its local 5G network, but also subsidizing operators to dismantle Huawei equipment.

At the same time, in order to achieve "China de-China" in the field of 5G telecommunications, the United States has also "fooled" allies such as Japan, Germany, and Australia to establish the 5G OpenRAN Alliance, hoping to assemble equipment from different manufacturers through unified standard interfaces and protocols, so as to improve the openness of the 5G market and realize the encirclement and suppression of Huawei 5G in disguise.

Unfortunately, the organization is still scattered after all, not only the technical strength is uneven, but also the price of the relevant equipment is too high, which completely exceeds the budget of the enterprise, a large number of open RAN networks are finally shut down, and there will be network outages from time to time in operation.

The United States realized that 5G has very little hope of catching up with China, so it made a very bold decision to bypass 5G and directly develop 6G. As a result, the United States and a number of Western technology giants established the "Next G" alliance, aiming to regain the right to speak in the 6G era, focusing on the "Next G" team lineup is very strong, including Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, Cisco, Qualcomm, Apple, Google, AT&T, etc.

Now, at Mobile World Congress MWC2024, the United States and the United Kingdom once again joined France, South Korea, Japan, the Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden, Canada, and Australia to issue a statement on "common principles" for the research and development of 6G wireless systems, and to work together to support open, secure, reliable, and resilient links. At the same time, the alliance has also jointly established the AI-RAN Alliance with 11 companies including NVIDIA to build more reliable networks and accelerate the release of new business opportunities in 6G with the help of artificial intelligence.

However, whether it is the previous Open-RAN or the AI-RAN alliance established at MWC2024, there are no Chinese companies such as Huawei and ZTE. The intention is very obvious, to unite all the industry giants that can be connected, integrate all the technologies that can be integrated, and try to achieve a global lead in the 6G era.

In response to this matter, some foreign media rationally believe that without China, 6G is simply impossible.

First of all, in the early days of 5G development, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering have been calling for although 5G has gained advantages, but it should not be careless in the field of 6G. Ren Zhengfei also revealed that Huawei has started the research and development of 6G in the later stage of 5G research and development, and China has established a 6G promotion group in 2019 to systematically promote demand, technology, standards and international cooperation. The data shows that at present, in the field of 6G patents, China's 6G patents are 403% of the total is firmly at the top of the list. According to the report, the standardization of 6G will be formulated in 2025, and China and the West are accelerating the 6G layout.

Secondly, the introduction of artificial intelligence into 6G, this technology Huawei has already done, at this mobile communication conference, Huawei released 5G-A technology, the so-called 5G-A, is 55G, which is the mobile communication technology in the transition stage between 5G and 6G, Huawei also released the first large model in the communication industry, which is based on artificial intelligence technology and advanced algorithms to improve the performance of communication networks and intelligently dispatch resources5G achieves the goal of intelligence.

Finally, while the alliance technically divides the world into "West" and "China," they seem to have forgotten that there are only two countries in the world in terms of the size of telecommunications: China and foreign countries. In the 4G era, the number of base stations in China accounts for 70% of the number of base stations in the world, and the total number of 5G base stations accounts for more than 60% of the world.

What's more, there are 193 countries in the world, and we also have the support of Africa, the Middle East, and Russia, so the foreign media is right, with China, they have no chance of 6G.
