Luka Doncic had a great game, scoring 38 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and diching out 10 assists, but also committing seven turnovers. Kyrie Irving also had a standout performance, contributing 28 points, five rebounds and four assists. Derrick Jones contributed 21 points and seven rebounds in the game, while Hardaway Jr. had just two points and Washington contributed 13 points.
For the 76ers, Tobias Harris contributed 28 points and five rebounds, while Maxey scored 24 points, along with three assists and two steals. Paul Reed contributed 13 points and seven rebounds, Hield contributed 11 points and four assists, Oubre had 21 points, five rebounds and four assists, and Batum had seven points and 11 rebounds.
At the beginning of the game, Maxey showed excellent scoring ability, scoring 17 points in a single quarter to help the 76ers lead 32-22. In the second quarter, the Mavericks relied on the play of Doncic and Irving to chase points, but still trailed 51-56 in the first half.
In the third quarter, Harris, Hield and Lowry hit consecutive three-pointers to help the 76ers extend their lead to 15 points at one point and lead 90-76. In the fourth quarter, Oubre and Harris kept the 76ers in the lead, and despite Doncic's late efforts, the Mavericks lost 116-120.
The match showcased the outstanding performance of the players from both sides, especially the matchup between Doncic and Harris, which made for a great game for the fans. Although the Mavericks lost the game, the team also deserves praise for their tenacious fighting spirit.
