Have you ever been interrupted from work by an automatic update for Windows? Today, let me teach you how to easily turn off Windows updates and make your computer smoother and freer.

The first trick: disable updates for local services.

Press win+r on the keyboard at the same time and type servicesmsc and click OK.

In the pop-up service window, find Windows Update and double-click to open its properties, setting the startup type to disabled.

In the Recovery tab, set all actions after failure to no action. Finally, click Apply and OK.

Trick 2: Turn off updates by Group Policy.

Press Win+R at the same time and type gpeditMSC Click OK.

Go to the computer configuration, find Windows Components in the management template, and then Windows Update. Double-click Configure automatic updates, select Disable, and click Apply and OK.

The third trick: the registry extends the update time.

Hold down Win+R, type regedit and press enter, Registry Editor, click by path, and then right-click in the blank area on the right to create a new DWORD32 value, named FlightSettingsMaxPauseDays.

Double-click Edit, select Decimal, change the left value to 54321, and click OK.
