In 2024, the Yangtze River Delta railway freight transportation market will continue to usher in a peak, and the volume of bulk cargo transportation will continue to improve.
Make the best use of things, and the goods flow smoothly. In terms of adjusting the structure of cargo sources, the Yangtze River Delta railway department has released multimodal transport dividends, focusing on the three major container products of sea-rail intermodal transport, open-top containers, and China-Europe trains, so as to promote the quality and quantity of freight. In the first two months of this year, the first cargo volume of China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group reached 30.7 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 34%;5,463 vehicles were transported in containers, an increase of 11 year-on-year1%;The number of China-Europe trains and sea-rail intermodal trains also increased by 21% and 23% respectively compared with the same period last year3%。In addition, since the first China-Laos cross-border freight train in the Yangtze River Delta opened on December 8, 2021, a total of 4,491 cars of goods have been exported.
Compared with the hot container transportation, since the beginning of this year, the Yangtze River Delta commodity vehicle transportation has also been "red all the way". As of press time, the railway department has shipped 19 commercial cars this year20,000 units, up 25% y/y.
In 2024, the Yangtze River Delta railway freight will be guided by the operation map, adjust the operation of general-speed passenger and freight trains, release the transportation capacity of the main channel, make full use of the transportation capacity vacated by passenger transport, and promote the balanced matching and efficient utilization of resources such as routes and equipment. Continuously promote the speed of trucks and further improve the efficiency of freight transportation organization. Make every effort to do a good job in the transportation of bulk goods, and actively strive for the "road to iron" of the port gold mine; Vigorously develop container sea-rail combined transport, China-Europe freight trains and open-top container transportation, and the freight situation is off to a good start.
In January this year, Zhejiang China-Europe trains took the lead in delivering good news, sending 110 trains in 31 days and shipping 1 goods20,000 TEUs, with a year-on-year increase of 28%. On the first day of the Lunar New Year, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province departed the first Trans-Caspian Central Asia train to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, opening up a new channel for international cargo transportation for enterprises in Nanjing and surrounding cities. Throughout the Spring Festival, the Yangtze River Delta Central Europe (Central Asia) train opened "without closing", and a total of 66 trains were opened during the 8-day holiday, 23 more than last year, an increase of 535%。
Before and after the Spring Festival, rain and snow fell frequently in northern Anhui, central Jiangsu, southern Jiangsu and other places, and the electricity consumption of urban and rural residents increased sharply. In order to solve the urgent need to burn "coal" in various places, China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group has carefully deployed and carefully organized transportation, strengthened the contact with local governments and enterprises, timely understood and grasped the storage and consumption of thermal coal in major power plants, accurately formulated a supply guarantee plan, and made every effort to rush to load coal in Lianghuai and other places, focusing on ensuring the transportation demand of coal for power generation and heating. Railway stations in Huaibei, Huainan, Hefei, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Shanghai and other places have worked together to strengthen the organization of loading and transportation in low temperature and rainy and snowy weather. The locomotive units in Xuzhou, Hefei, Nanjing and other places have done a good job in locomotive scheduling to ensure the orderly and smooth transportation of thermal coal and festival materials. Up to now, the Yangtze River Delta railway coal transportation has exceeded 3,001 vehicles per day, of which thermal coal transportation has remained at 2,083 vehicles per day.
In order to better serve shippers, at the beginning of the year, the railway freight 95306 system was upgraded online, and new services and new functions were actively launched, comprehensively guiding the main line of goods to be handled, and advocating "let the data run more errands and let the shippers run less." "In terms of offline services, the freight acceptance service center will carry out the overall planning of 8 service functions, focusing on the centralized handling of acceptance, accounting, ticketing and payment functions, and respond to needs and handle business 24 hours a day. Xu Tao, chief of the marketing section of the freight department of China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group, told reporters that in March, the Yangtze River Delta Railway will set up a 95306 freight service center, and the relevant cargo service personnel have all been equipped in place.
At present, it is the spring ploughing season, and the demand for spring ploughing materials such as fertilizers and pesticides across the country is obvious. Since the beginning of spring, Huainan West Railway Station and Hefei Logistics Center have realized "fast delivery, quick pick-up, fast hanging, and fast transportation" of vehicles by improving the agricultural material transportation plan, accelerating vehicle turnover, and improving empty vehicle allocation, effectively helping the supply of agricultural materials and fertilizers for spring ploughing. In February, the number of spring fertilizer loading at Tianjia'an Station of Huainan Railway reached 231 vehicles150,000 tons. Hefei Logistics Center in Bengbu East Freight Station, for enterprises to build bulk grain barge transportation, filling and loading integration, mechanized service platform, reduce the grain transportation in the process of cargo damage, improve the loading efficiency, grain transportation increased by 91% year-on-year.
