In the daily operation, the use of the spectrophotometer will inevitably encounter some failures, in this process we need to judge first, and then overhaul, or report to the manufacturer for maintenance, in the actual operation, the needle is also needed for proper maintenance, for example, the instrument should be placed in a dry environment, placed on a firm and stable workbench, it should be noted that the silica gel at the bottom and cuvette camera obscura should be dried regularly to maintain its dryness, and if it is found that the discoloration should be replaced immediately or dried before use, More importantly, if the instrument is not used temporarily, it should be powered on regularly, not less than 20 30min each time, and some troubleshooting methods are introduced below.
Spectrophotometer troubleshooting rules:
cuvettes are placed in inconsistent positions in the cuvette slot or water droplets are stored on their surfaces; Solution: Wipe the surface of the cuvette with mirror polish paper and place it on the left side of the cuvette and position it with a positioning clip.
1. Circuit fault; Solution: Refurbish the circuit.
insufficient light energy; Solution: Increase the sensitivity magnification, gear or replace the light source.
The cuvette holder is not in place; Solution: Adjust the position.
Aging of photoelectric conversion part; Workaround: Replace the parts.
2. Circuit failure; Workaround: Adjust the circuit.
Inspection items that cannot be adjusted by the instrument:
The instrument is heavily damp; Solution: Open the optical and electrical cassette, blow it with a hair dryer for a while and replace the desiccant.
3. Circuit failure; Solution: Overhaul the circuit.
The light gate cannot be closed; Solution: Fix the light door missing and make it close.
The transmittance rate is 100%, and it is turned to the end; Workaround: Readjust the 100% knob.
