How to promote the deep integration of innovation chain, industrial chain, capital chain and talent chain? Yan Chunhua, deputy to the National People's Congress and president of Lanzhou University, believes that the "four-chain integration" is essentially the acceleration of the agglomeration of innovation elements and the interconnection of innovation subjects, so as to form new industries, new models, new kinetic energy, and develop new quality productivity. As a high-level research university, it is necessary to give full play to the important role of colleges and universities as the first productive force of science and technology, the first resource of talents, and the first driving force of innovation, and promote the "two-way running" and "four-chain integration" of schools and enterprises.

In this regard, Yan Chunhua put forward three suggestions:

The first is to focus on building a talent training mechanism that connects curriculum content and technology development, connects the teaching process with the production process, and integrates talent training with industrial needs, and promotes the deep integration of talent chain and innovation chain by adjusting curriculum settings, internship practices, industry mentor systems, dual tutor systems, and school-enterprise joint training. Deepen the reform of the integrated training model of professional degree research, production and education, and hire industry tutors to create a new situation of school-enterprise collaborative education.

The second is to focus on the formation of an industry-university-research integration model that promotes enterprises to solve problems and schools to answer questions, and through the establishment of joint laboratories and technology research and development centers, we will work with enterprises to overcome key technical problems, so as to truly realize the seamless connection from the laboratory to the production of enterprises and the transformation of results.

The third is to focus on building a modern industrial system led by scientific and technological innovation, through technological innovation, strengthen the layout of strategic emerging industries, forward-looking layout of future industries, build an innovation community of mutual demand between upstream and downstream, and form an innovative industry agglomeration effect, so as to effectively promote the optimization of economic structure and industrial transformation and upgrading.
