3000 words dry goods! After 5 years of operating self media, how do I do content positioning?

Mondo Technology Updated on 2024-03-05

Hello friends, I'm Mandarin.

In my own practice and summary of the operation system, the general direction of self-positioning includes four aspects: domain track, content, users, and business realization.

At the beginning of the new year, I want to give my *** a bit of content positioning. In this process, I easily summarized [**Content Positioning SOP], and interested friends can follow my ideas together.

*Version of [**Content Positioning SOP], I've sorted it out, and it's applicable to every *** master (and other platforms).

01 Publication frequency (can be adjusted periodically).

Explain the frequency of posting: how often do you post articles? How many posts at a time?

Is it better to post more frequently?

My answer is: yes, the higher the frequency, the better, because one more release means that we have 1-8 more articles, and many more opportunities. The total number of reads, this data will definitely be **.

For example, assuming that all other conditions are balanced and stable, there are 2 accounts.

Account A updates 8 articles a day, and account B updates 1 article a day. In principle, the total traffic and average daily traffic of account A should be higher than that of account B.

Account C updates one article every 2 days, and Account D updates one article a week. In principle, the total traffic and average daily traffic of account C should be higher than that of account D.

Therefore, I personally encourage everyone to increase the frequency of updates, preferably daily. If you have the time, energy, and ability, you can release several more articles per update, preferably 8 more.

In addition, in fact, there is no limit to the number of releases now. In addition to being able to **1 time per day, there are also unlimited publishing opportunities (mainly by recommendation).

However, I don't recommend neglecting the quality of your content in order to increase the frequency of updates. My goal is to do 1 more article a day, and everyone can do what they can. Some of the owners are more than once a week, and the article is 100,000 plus, and they are still doing very well.

02 Release time (subject to periodic adjustment).

Explain: Every time you publish, it is recommended to stabilize in a certain period of time, don't jump too much, and cultivate the habit of subscribing to readers.

Here are a few principles to share:

Clause. 1. If it is time-sensitive content, release it as soon as possible, no matter what time it is.

Clause. 2. Routine content, information, it is recommended to publish it in the morning peak; Learn, think, precipitate. If you need to spend your brain to understand and ponder, it is recommended to release it in the evening peak; Lighter content, preferably posted during casual hours.

For example, my table tennis account is an information account, and I will choose to push it at 8:00 in the morning; In case of hot spots such as the Olympics, push at any time or push at 0:00. This account is a dry goods account, so I plan to release it in the evening rush hour, and strive to stabilize it until about 22:00 every day in the future!

Whether it is the release time or frequency, I think it can be adjusted regularly, and this cycle is generally recommended to be more than 1 month.

For example, sometimes we can't tell when it's better to release (I'm not sure if the operation graduate student should be released at 17:00, 20:00, or 22:00), in fact, I can release at 17:00 for a month, 20:00 for a month, 22:00 for a month, compare the effect of 3 months, and finally choose a more suitable time period.

03 Content pillars (keywords).

I've shared a parable with many owners:

If you think of self-making content as building a house, then the keyword is the content pillar, which is a very core thing, as important as the foundation. If you don't choose the right keywords, then the house is doomed to be unstable.

Share the core keywords of my account as a [Graduate Student].

Self-sufficient, new, sideline earnings, personal growth.

Writing: Toutiao, Baijia, **Xiaohongshu, Zhihu, NetEase.

Short**: Douyin, Kuaishou, **.

Medium**: Watermelon**, good-looking**, Bilibili.

At present, this account is mainly to update the dry content of major platforms, and I will add some personal growth IP content to it in the future to improve the monetization ability.

So, all my content revolves around these keywords, and I have a lot of content to write around these keywords, and I can't finish writing for a few years, so I don't have to worry about what to write today.

In this area, I suggest that all bloggers who do *** do a**, called [Keyword Database], our ultimate goal is to occupy more keyword search traffic, so that more of our works rank higher on major platforms.

Friends who don't know how to do keyword databases, go to the end of the article to get my template.

04 Number of words and pictures per article

To explain: how many words should be stable for each tweet we publish, and how many pictures should be approximately?

As far as [Operational Graduate Students] is concerned, each article must not be less than 1,000 words and 3 figures.

In addition, the header image is fixed to guide users to follow and star accounts; The text is accompanied by pictures, there is no copyright, it needs to be marked**, and the infringement can be deleted. The picture at the end of the article can be: ** Personal WeChat community business card, product marketing poster, etc.

05 Content style

**Different,** The personality of the Lord is different, and the content style of each *** is different.

As far as I am concerned, the style orientation I give to [Graduate Student] is: sincere, practical, and dry.

Because my writing is very ordinary, I can't write flowers, and my personality belongs to a more calm or even dull type, and I like to ponder the underlying logic. So the kind of surprise is not suitable for me, and it is more suitable for Xu Xu.

There is no standard for this kind of thing, so it's good to choose based on your own ability and character.

06 Contents**

Common content**: original, re-post, authorized**, copy-paste (plagiarism)...

The latter, I would be the least recommended. I have been sharing with many consultants: If you don't have the ability to create content and want to rely on plagiarism or AI to do your own work, then I recommend giving up as soon as possible and don't waste time.

Original content is a basic ability. However, sometimes when the time, energy or emotions are not enough, you can post the previously published article again, and it is best to change the title; Plus, it's a great way to get content.

I've published a lot of articles before, and it's a deal based on the number of followers and quality content.

For example: Account A has 1 million followers, but the account owner is worried about content creation; B account, the owner's creative ability is great, but he only has 1000 followers, and he is worried about the number of fans.

If they have figured out their field tracks and user attributes, they can cooperate. Account A**The content of account B, account A contributes its own followers and advertising space to get high-quality content, and account B contributes its own high-quality content to get ** and increase followers.

Some excellent bloggers, they will have a clear plan for how many original articles, several articles, and which accounts they will have for a year, a month, or a week.

07 Started in**?

There are a lot of platforms since, should they be launched to**?

My current approach is: time-sensitive content is sent synchronously across the network; Regular content, first published in today's headlines, can strive for 2 times the first subsidy, 72 hours to synchronize with other platforms. The article you see now is the article that was first published in today's headlines 3 days ago.

When the headlines are first published, there will be a problem: the 72-hour time limit for the first release, during this period, there will be vicious Xiaoxiao and plagiarize our articles. So, pay attention to rights protection!

08 Content column

Column-based operation is a good idea. In this way, it is possible to create anticipation for the reader. In addition, by making the column into a label, you can get more opportunities.

Operational Graduate Students] column planning is as follows:

Clause. 1. At the end of each year, publish the annual plan for the second year (content, fans, revenue, etc.).

Clause. 2. At the end of each year, the annual summary review of the current year is released.

Clause. 3. At the end of each year, release the marketing routine hot spots for the second year.

Clause. 4. At the end of each year, the topic selection framework for the second year will be released.

Clause. 5. On the 1st of each month, release the marketing hotspots of the month.

Clause. 6. At the beginning of each month, a summary of the previous month's data will be released.

Clause. 7. At the beginning of each month, release the data plan for the month.

In addition, the [Show Record] column mainly publishes my fans, content, and revenue data on various self-leading platforms, and shares the glory worth celebrating.

Dry Goods Experience] column, is to share my own dry goods experience.

Hot Rules] column, sharing the rules of major self-leading platforms, as well as hot information.

Sideline Recommendation] column, sharing the reliable sideline projects that my friends ran through.

Guest sharing] column, some friends will be invited to share their own stories, you can also contribute to me, 50-200 yuan.

The above are some of the issues that must be considered if you want to do a good job in self-content positioning. Of course, there are many other aspects to consider, but for the sake of space, I'll push the rest of the content in the next issue!
