Handle administrative approval matters online, use mobile phones to make bank transfers, ......Nowadays, more and more people are enjoying the convenience of digital life. Do you know? Some of these digital application scenarios such as government affairs and finance are "calculated" in China Unicom (Huailai) Big Data Innovation Industrial Park.
A few days ago, the reporter saw in the computer room of China Unicom (Huailai) Big Data Innovation Industrial Park that black cabinets were lined up, and the server indicator lights flashed green alternately. Invisible data shuttles back and forth in communication cables, supporting the efficient operation of digital scenarios.
Liu Xiaoyi, head of China Unicom (Huailai) Big Data Innovation Industrial Park, introduced that more than 800 cabinets in the big data innovation industrial park have been filled with servers, and customers are mainly concentrated in finance, environmental science and first-class departments.
In the era of digital intelligence, computing power is a new type of productivity with vitality and innovation. Every 1 yuan invested in computing power will drive 3 to 4 yuan of GDP economic growth. In January last year, the "Action Plan for Accelerating the Construction of Digital Hebei (2023-2027)" was released, and Hebei accelerated the construction of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei national hub node of the national integrated computing power network.
As a member of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Big Data Hub Cluster of the National "Eastern Data and Western Computing" Project, China Unicom (Huailai) Big Data Innovation Industrial Park was officially put into operation on July 12, 2023. The Big Data Innovation Industrial Park is also the core-level data center with the largest area, the highest construction level and the largest rack scale currently under construction in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
Liu Xiaoyi introduced that as the physical carrier of computing power, the data center is the base for storing, processing, and computing data, and plays a role in smoothing the channel of computing power and releasing the potential of data elements. Different from traditional data centers, China Unicom (Huailai) Big Data Innovation Industrial Park is positioned as an operator-level large-scale park-type data center around the capital, which will strongly promote the construction of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou computing power economic corridor and serve the development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei digital economy.
Through various technologies, products and other innovations, computing here is "smarter".
In the computer room building of China Unicom (Huailai) Big Data Innovation Industrial Park, the reporter saw several staff members busy installing and debugging servers. "This is the server of the computing network integration (Huailai) scheduling platform, which can support AI intelligent computing power scheduling, and will be installed and debugged in the second quarter of this year. Liu Xiaoyi said that at that time, the park can schedule the computing power of national data centers such as Hohhot and Guizhou, provide customers with richer and more timely computing services, and better empower scenarios such as unmanned driving, vehicle-road coordination, and remote driving.
In order to maximize the utility of computing power, in addition to solving the technical problem of computing power scheduling, it is also necessary to provide ultra-large bandwidth and ultra-low latency network direct connection.
Relying on the Winter Olympics network, China Unicom innovatively changed the network layout mode to go directly from Huailai to Beijing, and the delay was reduced to less than 2 milliseconds, creating a "two cities, one family" and "being in Beijing" like a high-speed network experience, providing network infrastructure for future autonomous driving and industrial Internet robots.
In order to ensure the quality of east-west computing power mutual access, the industrial park is also connected to computing power bearer networks, including intelligent metropolitan area networks, ubiquitous access networks, optical transmission networks, etc., to achieve high-speed all-optical interconnection and mutual access between regions and cities in the region, and build an all-optical transmission base with high bandwidth, low latency, high security, and flexible scheduling for computing power networks.
The ultra-fast network experience and efficient computing power scheduling mode enable China Unicom (Huailai) Big Data Innovation Industrial Park to provide top-level computing power support services for data centers in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and even the whole country.
It is believed that in the near future, the APP servers involved in daily applications such as financial payment and government approval applications used by us will be more and more deployed in the park, and our park will also provide more computing power support for everyone's intelligent production and life. Liu Xiaoyi said.
