On the occasion of International Women's Day, in order to enhance the awareness of the rule of law among the vast number of women, in the past few days, the Baoshan District Women's Federation has jointly carried out various legal popularization activities with many departments, and sent rich festival law popularization to the women in the whole region
This series of activities further promotes family virtues, cultivates good family style, protects the legitimate rights and interests of women, and forms a good social trend of respecting, caring for and protecting women in the whole region by going deep into women's homes to publicize the law, setting up propaganda desks in residents' squares to answer consultations, and distributing manuals on laws and regulations.
At the site of the publicity activities, the staff distributed the "Civil Code", "Law on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Women and Children", "Anti-Domestic Violence Law", "Legal Aid Law", "Family Education Promotion Law" and other relevant legal knowledge brochures and various publicity materials such as prevention of telecommunication fraud and anti-cult to the passers-by, and gave detailed lectures on women's rights and interests policies and domestic violence protection. At the same time, a brochure on the prevention and treatment of two cancers was also distributed, explaining the free screening and assistance projects for women's two cancers, so that more women could understand the party's policy of benefiting the people. At the same time, women's volunteers went to women's homes to distribute publicity materials on laws and regulations and handbooks on the prevention and treatment of women's cancers, so that more women knew how to protect their legitimate rights and interests in accordance with the law.
The activities were diverse in form and rich in content, and were well received and praised by women, with a total of more than 300 copies of various publicity materials distributed and more than 20 people answering consultations.
In the next step, the District Women's Federation will carry out legal popularization publicity and rights protection activities on a regular basis in various forms such as lectures on law popularization, organizing grassroots women's federations to carry out knowledge competitions and lectures, and guide the majority of women to strive to be propagandists, participants and practitioners in the construction of the rule of law, and actively play the role of "half the sky" in promoting the construction of Baoshan under the rule of law, so as to promote the peace and happiness of families and the harmony and stability of the jurisdiction.
