So far, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi, which once dominated the era of fuel vehicles, have not found a feeling in the new energy market. The most intuitive embodiment is the sales volume, the few models have just broken 1,000, and the more can exceed 6,000, or rely on a big drop. When compared to the market, these numbers are obviously unattainable.

If you want to delve into the main reason why BBA new energy vehicles do not sell well? The first is that the product performance does not meet consumer expectations.

However, as a traditional powerhouse, how can BBA be willing to lag behind? These three German luxury brands continue to make efforts in the pure electric vehicle market, launching a number of new models, such as Audi's latest masterpiece in late March, the Audi Q6 e-tron. The new model is based on the PPE platform and is closely related to the Porsche Macan EV.

In fact, as early as last year's Guangzhou International Auto Show, the prototype of the Audi Q6 e-tron was unveiled. In comparison, the Audi Q6 e-tron in Audi's official announcement is very similar to the model unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show.

In terms of appearance, the front face of the Audi Q6 e-tron is built with a family-style design language, and the polygonal front grille is closed inside, highlighting the identity of an electric vehicle. The new car has a split headlight design. The front logo uses luminous design, and the design concept is novel.

At the rear, the design of the new car is very simple, with a through-type taillight cluster, and the rear surround style is sporty, making the new car look more youthful.

In terms of external dimensions, the body size is expected to be 4805, 1895, 1635mm in length, width and height, and the wheelbase is 2850mm, positioning it as a mid-size SUV. Compared with the length, width and height of the Audi Q4 e-tron are 4588, 1865 and 1626mm, and the wheelbase is 2765mm, which is obviously larger.

The interior part continues Audi's creation of a sense of technology in the cockpit, with a simple layout and 119-inch full LCD instrument cluster and 14A 5-inch touchscreen with a central control screen and an entertainment screen for the co-pilot.

In addition, the Audi Q6 e-tron retains a lot of physical buttons in the car, which is different from many pure electric car interiors, and the physical buttons are more convenient for users to operate blindly.

In terms of storage, the new car offers a trunk with 526L of storage space, and the rear seats can be folded down in a 40:20:40 ratio, and the storage space can be expanded to 1529L when folded down. In addition, the front trunk offers up to 64 litres of storage space.

The Audi Q6 e-tron will also be equipped with a new in-vehicle infotainment platform, which is based on the Android in-vehicle system and supports OTA upgrades. At the same time, there is also the existence of the AR-HUD head-up display function, which significantly improves the sense of technology and driving experience in the car.

In terms of power, the Audi Q6 e-tron will be available in two variants, the 55 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron, with a WLTP range of 600+ km and 500+ km based on the PPE platform. At the same time, the vehicle is equipped with a 100kWh battery pack and has a fast charging capacity of 270kW, which can charge from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes. Other performance details are not yet known.

The price has not been announced, but it is expected to be between 300,000 and 400,000 yuan. And the car will not be delivered immediately on the market, which requires constant attention, and may bring some small surprises.
