Our Festival
In my heart, Mom is a true hero. She is not only the pillar of my life, but also an outstanding woman in the history of China's high-speed railway development - an EMU designer. On this special Women's Day, I would like to pay tribute to her and her spirit of hard work, perseverance and innovation.
In the oily and metallic shop, she is always dressed in blue overalls and a hard hat, intently examining the design drawings, holding a pencil in her hand, and occasionally scribbling precise lines across the drawings. Her eyes sparkled, it was a love for technology, a dedication to innovation, and the pursuit of dreams.
I have secretly observed their work, which is a choreographed dance that is precise to the millimeter and every detail is perfect. They are not afraid of dirt or tiredness in the hot workshop, just to make each EMU safer, more comfortable and faster.
Every time she is faced with a new project, she and her team have to discuss, experiment, and improve countless times. I remember those nights, my mother always worked late, and her office was brightly lit, as if it was a pearl in the night. There, she used her wisdom and sweat to depict a bright future for China's EMUs.
Now, whenever I travel on high-speed rail and see those speeding trains, I think of my mom. It is the hard work of her and her colleagues that has brought these steel giants to life and allowed them to paint beautiful pictures on the land of China.
On this Women's Day, I would like to say to my mother: your career is not only a part of China's high-speed railway, but also an eternal pride in my heart. Your hard work, perseverance and innovation inspire me to pursue my dreams. Thank you, Mom. You are an amazing woman and your trajectory will forever be etched in my heart.
