Zebra dog head, spread the bottom sand?
Zebra doghead new pit aquarists are always entangled in a problem, whether the bottom sand is paved in the end, of course, there is bottom sand and no bottom sand, each has its own advantages, but the disadvantages of the bottom sand are also obvious, I personally recommend bare tank breeding.
Let's talk about the advantages of laying the bottom sand, it is good-looking, you can make a proper landscaping, add some aquatic plants and root sunken wood, which is also conducive to hair color, and the belly can be raised from white to yellow, so that the fish feces are not so obvious at the bottom of the tank.
There are more disadvantages, first of all, there is bottom sand, fish feces are not obvious, but it is easy to spoil the water, and it is really unpleasant to look at when you want to fish, because there is bottom sand, it is also quite laborious.
The most important point is to raise zebra dog heads, we generally use the upper filter, because few people use the bottom filter for 60 cylinders and 80 cylinders. If you filter on the wall, the space of the filter material is small, and the water quality is not enough to support the zebra dog head that can eat and pull.
Most players use the upper filter, plus the bottom sand, then it is necessary to raise the pump, many people will choose to use a bracket, raise the pump, then there is a problem, just like the zebra dog head of the aquarist in **, get the hidden space, and the interaction will be greatly reduced.
And some are timid, they like to get into the sand, especially when they are not in good shape, and there is nothing to watch.
So I have repeatedly advised the majority of aquarists to raise doghead fish in a bare tank. With a yellow background at the bottom, you can still have color, and your belly can also grow from white to yellow.
In fact, there is a trick to raising a white belly to a yellow belly, and we will talk about this problem in the next issue.
