More than 100 people from the industrial and commercial circles on both sides of the strait inspected and investigated the development of the industry, looked for business opportunities for cooperation, and hoped to strengthen investment cooperation with the mainland in related fields. Zhejiang is one of the regions with the most intensive economic and trade exchanges and cooperation with Taiwan and the most fruitful results. Up to now, the province has approved more than 11,000 Taiwan-funded enterprises, and the actual use of Taiwan-funded enterprises has reached 32.8 billion US dollars, forming a cluster of Taiwan-funded enterprises in precision machinery, information electronics, food, Lingang petrochemical, integrated circuits, etc. Xu Xiaoguang, director of the Zhejiang Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office, said that Taiwan has certain comparative advantages in integrated circuits, precision machinery, biotechnology, and other industries, and that economic and trade cooperation between Zhejiang and Taiwan has broad space for development. Zhejiang will always uphold the concept of "Taiwanese businessmen in Zhejiang are Zhejiang businessmen", study and launch new measures to help Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan businessmen share new opportunities for Zhejiang's development. During the visit, Zhan Zhengtian, vice chairman of the Taiwan Federation of Industries, said that as one of the largest and most influential industrial groups in Taiwan, the Taiwan Federation of Industries has maintained close ties with Zhejiang for a long time, and various parts of Zhejiang have also introduced a number of policies to benefit Taiwan, providing a broad space for the development of Taiwanese businessmen and enterprises. "This on-site visit and face-to-face communication have been of great help to us, and we are very enthusiastic to visit as many places as possible to find opportunities for investment cooperation. Zheng Wenyu, supervisor of the Taiwan Federation of Industries, believes that mutual benefit between the two sides of the strait can achieve a win-win situation, and hopes to use Zhejiang's first-mover advantage in the field of digital economy to help Taiwanese enterprises transform and upgrade, especially to help manufacturing enterprises catch the "digital" express. In 2023, the Cross-Strait (Shaoxing) Digital Industry Cooperation Zone was successfully established, aiming to promote in-depth cooperation in the field of digital industry between the two sides of the strait.
