The participating athletes in our district also won:
3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals
3 4th and 1 5th.
2 x 7th and 2 x 8th.
It is reported that a total of 66 athletes from China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand participated in the competition, with 7 events for men's and women's sprint, vertical race, individual cross-country and mixed relay. 25 athletes from our district were selected for the Chinese national team.
After several days of fierce competition, our competitor Jidan Yuzhen won four championships in women's sprint, vertical race, individual cross-country and mixed relay; Tashi Danzhen won the second place in the women's vertical race, the third place in the individual cross-country race, and the fourth place in the mixed relay; Pumani finished second in the women's individual cross-country and fourth in the vertical race; Yuzhen Ram won the second place in the mixed relay and the seventh place in the sprint; Gunsonlanga finished third in the men's individual cross-country and seventh in the vertical race; Tenzin Qupei won the fourth place in the men's vertical race; Ngawang Lok finished fifth in the men's sprint; Solang Quzhen won the eighth place in the women's vertical race; Ouzhu Tsering finished eighth in the men's individual cross-country and mixed relay.
It is understood that the 2024 Asian Ski Mountaineering Championships will have a total of 7 events, the Chinese team has won 7 gold medals, and the athletes in our district have won 4 gold medals, winning honor for the motherland and adding luster to the country, fully demonstrating the huge potential of ski mountaineering projects in our region, and contributing to the construction of a sports power.
