Driving in the beautiful streets of Xiong'an, seeing the brand-new buildings outside the window, wandering in Yuerong Park, the thousand-year-old beautiful forest, and lingering on the edge of Baiyangdian Lake, a curiosity came to my heart: why did Xiong'an New Area "grow" so fast and so well? Who is contributing to the city of the future?

Not long ago, reporters from Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei came to Xiong'an New Area and set their sights on the builders who are struggling to pursue their dreams here.

Ingenuity carves the "boat of life".

He is very busy every day, and the whole person is like a motor. At the project site, he can take more than 20,000 steps a day; When he went back to Beijing to run errands, he could run back and forth twice a day.

The "superman" in the eyes of colleagues is called Zhao Yuhua, the project manager of the first phase of Beijing Construction Engineering Xiong'an Xuanwu Hospital, and the commander-in-chief of the second phase of Xiong'an Xuanwu Hospital, who has participated in the construction of the project in Xiong'an for more than 4 years. He often said that Xiong'an Xuanwu Hospital was like his own child.

Xiong'an Xuanwu Hospital is the largest scale of the "three schools and one hospital" project built with Beijing's assistance, and the Beijing investment part (phase I) is 1220,000 square meters, Xiong'an New Area investment part (phase II) 1580,000 square meters. As a key project of Xiong'an New Area to provide medical and health services for Beijing's non-capital functions, it will become the medical center of the start-up area, which can provide high-level and all-round high-quality medical services for residents in the new area and surrounding areas after it is put into use.

With a great responsibility and a glorious mission, how can this "boat of life" achieve high-standard construction?

In 2019, Zhao Yuhua and the management team came to Xiong'an New Area. The construction team members were drawn from various units, and there were many young people who were not familiar with each other. Therefore, the project department set up the "Xiong'an Lecture Hall", based on the construction plan, combined with the different construction difficulties at each stage, and the professional leaders and industry experts within the project conducted business training for young people.

The new area has high requirements for the seismic resistance of new projects, and the general seismic fortification intensity of buildings is 8, while our project has set up a large number of seismic dampers on the beams and columns, and the seismic fortification intensity has reached 8Level 5. ”

The maximum thickness of the wall of the hospital's radiological room needs to reach 44 meters, the thickness of the roof is 3 to 5 times that of residential buildings, which requires us to pour concrete without a trace of cracks. ”

After a long period of exploration and study, Zhao Yuhua has changed from a layman in medical architecture to an expert.

On October 16, 2023, Xiong'an Xuanwu Hospital began trial operation. At the end of 2023, the third batch of departments, including otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, ophthalmology, neurosurgery, interventional radiology and other departments, will be put into trial operation. Since the trial operation of the hospital, the hospital has been running smoothly and orderly.

At the time of the reporter's interview in January this year, the hospital was in the run-in period. The project department has set up 5 operation teams, which are on call 24 hours a day, ready for maintenance and repair at any time. Zhao Yuhua said that the internal structure of the hospital is complex and the functions are diverse, and the needs of each sector are very different. For example, the main air conditioner needs to be heated in winter, but some departments need to be cooled to maintain low temperatures, which puts forward higher requirements for equipment.

I remember every day and night in Xiong'an New Area. Facing this modern and high-level hospital in front of him, Zhao Yuhua was deeply touched, "Xiong'an New Area is our wealth to future generations. When the city of the future rises, we will be proud of all these years of dedication! ”

Carefully polish the "Pearl of North China".

"Non-stop" and "like a clockwork" are the common characteristics of Xiong'an builders, including Liu Taixun.

Liu Taixun is from the Tianjin Waterway Bureau of the central enterprise CCCC (hereinafter referred to as the "Tianjin Aviation Bureau"). On January 31, in the morning, he had just finished the mobilization meeting for the start of the fifth phase of the Baiyangdian ecological dredging project, and immediately went to the construction site to step on the spot.

Located in the central part of Hebei Province, Baiyangdian is the largest freshwater lake in the North China Plain, and is known as the "Pearl of North China" and "the kidney of North China". Baiyangdian Lake is also an important ecological water body for the development of Xiong'an New Area.

In Baiyangdian Lake in winter, the thick ice layer is like a huge mirror embedded in the central wilderness of the Hebei Plain. Away from the hustle and bustle of summer, this is the perfect time for dredging work. Liu Taixun and his colleagues have the same idea - resolutely do not let sewage flow into Baiyangdian!

In 2017, 31-year-old Liu Taixun came to Xiong'an and began to participate in the construction of the new area, and he has been working for more than 6 years. He has participated in almost all the Baiyangdian treatment projects of the Tianjin Aviation Bureau, and has practiced exquisite skills such as comprehensive river management and landscaping.

In September 2019 and May 2020, we carried out the Baiyangdian ecological dredging pilot project and the expansion pilot project respectively, and finally concluded that even if the icebreaking and other processes require more costs, the construction should be carried out in winter, and about minus 10 degrees Celsius is the first period of dredging. At this time, there are fewer birds, fish recuperate, and the disturbance to Baiyangdian Lake is minimal, which can effectively protect the water quality. He said. In the following treatment projects, the start of construction in winter has become the criterion for these water control people. I can't go home two or three times a year, so going home for the New Year has become a luxury.

In Baiyangdian, Liu Taixun knows what to do in Baiyangdian, and what kind of project to do.

Once, the bid section in charge of another construction unit was delayed due to technical problems in shaping the reed terraces, and everyone scratched their heads.

Liu Taixun went to the scene and walked around. Standing on the shore, he proposed a solution on the spot: "It's okay to shape with silt, but you can't work on water, because the silt will collapse when it sees the water, and it will never become a shape." Pointing to the higher terrain on the other side, he said, "You build a cofferdam over there, drain the water upside down, and form a dry land system in the construction area to achieve land construction." After the sludge is transported, it is dried for a week to 10 days, and it can be shaped after hardening. ”

The project department quickly started construction according to his suggestion, and sure enough, it was completed in less than two months!

The fourth phase of the dredging project, which was just completed last year, adopted Liu Taixun's innovative construction concept, and the construction period was shortened by 45 days.

The water quality of Baiyangdian Lake has been comprehensively improved from inferior to above the standard, and it has entered the ranks of good lakes in the country. The news that came out at the beginning of 2022 made Liu Taixun excited. "When I went to Baiyangdian for the first time in September 2017, the water quality in the lake area was poor and the smell was terrible. Now it's different, the smell is gone, there are more birds, more fish, and more tourists. ”

Nowadays, Baiyangdian is no longer an ordinary construction project for me, and she is deeply imprinted in my heart. I just feel that if I don't protect her, I can't live with her. Liu Taixun said.

Focus on creating intelligent transportation

On the creative square at the northeast corner of Ronghe Tower in Xiong'an New District, the five big characters of "I came to Xiong'an" are particularly eye-catching. Many people who have just arrived in Xiong'an New Area will take it as their first stop to check in.

On the morning of January 25, the temporary office area of Xiong'an Innovation Research Institute was full of people. Walking into the Cognitive Intelligence Lab, the simulated traffic lights of the indoor installation are flashing and shining. Huang Wuling was leading four researchers to discuss the technical plan for upgrading the holographic intersection, and the whiteboard behind him was full of writing.

Wuling Huang is the deputy director of the Hebei Provincial Key Laboratory of Cognitive Intelligence at the Xiong'an Innovation Research Institute. He studied and worked at the Chinese Academy of Sciences for 13 years, and later joined a well-known Internet company in China, where he has been engaged in the research of intelligent vehicles and intelligent transportation systems for a long time.

I have been associated with Xiong'an for a long time. Speaking of Xiong'an, this big name in the field of intelligent transportation is full of passion.

In 2019, Huang Wuling, who works in an Internet company, participated in the unmanned distribution project of the Cainiao Post Station of the Xiong'an Citizen Service Center. Xiong'an's advanced pace and rich application scenarios in the field of smart cities and intelligent transportation have greatly increased his interest, and the idea of "going to Xiong'an" is like a seed planted in his heart.

In May 2020, the Xiong'an Innovation Research Institute, jointly established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Hebei Province, was established. The institute has established a number of laboratory teams such as communication photonic integrated chips. A platform for innovative research in the field of next-generation information technology has been launched. Hearing the news, Huang Wuling's idea of "going to Xiong'an" became even stronger. In March 2022, he joined the Xiong'an Innovation Research Institute.

Since then, five other researchers from well-known universities at home and abroad have joined the team. Nearly 1,000 square meters of cognitive intelligence laboratory has been built, which can simulate various traffic scenarios.

In the past two years, the laboratory has built an experimental platform for intelligent transportation and unmanned systems. In the face of digital roads and holographic intersections, vehicle-road coordination, autonomous driving and other topics, Huang Wuling and his colleagues used algorithms as "sharp tools" to solve key problems in the industry in a line, and gradually found the implementation path of the application of research results. They also applied the research results of autonomous driving systems to the field of intelligent manufacturing, and exported the "Xiong'an experience" to the outside world.

For the past 2023, Huang Wuling's biggest feeling is that "the taste of Xiong'an innovation is getting stronger and stronger".

The number of national and provincial science and technology projects undertaken or participated in by Xiong'an Innovation Research Institute has increased to more than 10, and the number of scientific researchers is close to 100.

Looking at the original choice now, Huang Wuling said: "Choosing Xiong'an is choosing the future." Xiong'an is a highland of innovation and entrepreneurship in the new era, encouraging bold innovation and practice, so that scientific researchers can have a lot to do. ”

The "Sixteen Articles" was released, the Xiong'an Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park was put into operation, the "Xiong'an Tour" was held by 100 schools, 100 enterprises, and 10,000 graduates of the capital college, and the scene of the future city of Xiong'an was launched ......The right time and place attract scientific and technological talents like Huang Wuling to come to Xiong'an and build the city of the future with wisdom and sweat.

Huang Wuling excitedly told reporters that the holographic intersection and other technologies jointly developed by the innovation research institute team and cooperative enterprises will be tested and promoted on a large scale in Xiong'an, "When the construction is completed, you are welcome to come again, and you will definitely have a smoother travel experience." ”
