Wang Gang said that in recent years, the Ministry of Transport has accelerated the construction of charging infrastructure systems along highways. By the end of 2023, a total of 2 charging piles have been built10,000, and the charging infrastructure network along the highway has been further improved.
As more and more people begin to drive new energy vehicles, "running at high speed, charging difficult" has become a concern for many new energy vehicle owners. During the Spring Festival holiday in 2024, the average daily traffic of new energy vehicles on highways across the country will be 593920,000 vehicles, accounting for 10 percent of the total daily traffic04%, a significant increase from the same period in 2023.
Wang Gang said that this year, the Ministry of Transport will continue to guide all localities to strengthen cooperation with relevant enterprises, increase construction efforts, optimize layout, encryption settings, and continue to promote the construction of charging infrastructure along highways. At the same time, according to the characteristics of traffic flow in different regions and different periods during holidays, guide all localities to provide targeted service guarantee measures.
