There are several ways to remove marker stains:
Alcohol Act
Using medical alcohol with a concentration of 70% or more, pour the alcohol over a soft cloth and gently wipe the marker stain until the stain fades or disappears. Alcohol can dissolve marker ink, but it's important to test the cloth's reaction to alcohol in an inconspicuous place first to prevent color fading or damage to the cloth.
Detergent method
Using a detergent that contains a degreasing function, first apply the detergent to the stain, wait a few moments for it to penetrate well, then gently brush it with warm water and a soft-bristled brush, and finally wash and dry it as usual.
White vinegar method
Pour the white vinegar over the stain and let it sit for about 15 minutes, then rinse with cold water and wash with a mild detergent. The acidity of vinegar can help break down the ink of the marker.
Shaving cream or toothpaste
Apply an appropriate amount of shaving cream or toothpaste to the stain, rub it gently for a few minutes, wipe it with a damp cloth, and wash it normally.
Special stain remover
Use a stain remover specifically for marker stains, such as a clothing stain remover that contains solvents, and treat it according to the product instructions.
Professionally cleaned
For particularly stubborn or valuable clothing, it can be sent to a professional dry cleaner for disposal.
When dealing with marker stains, please note the following:
Treated early, new stains are easier to remove than old stains.
Before using any detergent, it should be tested in an inconspicuous place on the garment to ensure that it does not cause damage to the color or texture of the garment.
Avoid rubbing vigorously during the washing process to avoid stains that expand or penetrate deep into the fabric.
