1. Policies and regulations:
On August 1, 2021, the Ministry of Emergency Management's new "Regulations on Fire Safety Management of High-rise Civil Buildings" has been officially implemented. Paragraph 1 of Article 37 of the "Provisions" clearly states that it is forbidden to park or charge electric bicycles in the public foyers, evacuation walkways, stairwells, and safety exits of high-rise civil buildings. In addition, paragraph 7 of Article 47 stipulates that if an electric bicycle is parked or charged in the public foyer evacuation walkway, stairwell or safety exit of a high-rise civil building, and the electric bicycle is refused, the fire and rescue agency shall order it to make corrections, and impose a fine of not less than 2,000 yuan but not more than 10,000 yuan on business units and individuals, and a fine of not less than 500 yuan but not more than 1,000 yuan on non-business units and individuals.
