In addition to the heroic and fearless fighting spirit of the volunteer soldiers, another important reason why the Chinese volunteers were able to achieve a great victory in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea was the iron-like discipline.
Soon after the Chinese Volunteers entered the DPRK, Mr. Peng issued an iron law:In wartime, there must be no work style problems, and once it is confirmed, both officers and soldiers will be shot and dealt with!
So, why did Mr. Peng make this iron law in particular?
After the outbreak of the Korean War, because of the insufficient estimation of the situation and the intervention of the joint **, the DPRK suffered great losses in troops, and had to adopt the method of "all the people are soldiers", and many women went to the battlefield to engage in logistics and supply work.
In war, logistical support is very crucial, and the lack of food or clothing to protect the front-line officers and men will cause huge non-combat attrition, so the Korean women comrades who are engaged in logistics work must often go to the front line and come into contact with the officers and men of the Chinese Volunteers.
At this time, if some young officers and soldiers are unable to control themselves, have relations with Korean women, or even commit crimes, it will seriously affect the relations between the military and the people, and even the relations between the two countries.
Therefore, after the Volunteer Army entered the DPRK, Mr. Peng and the Volunteer Army Headquarters clearly stipulated:Anyone who commits a style problem will be shot and will not be accommodated!
It is precisely this iron law that made the officers and men of the Chinese Volunteers rarely have problems in this regard during the entire War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and effectively maintained the image of the Chinese Volunteers and also maintained good military-civilian relations.
During the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the heroic and combative style of the Chinese volunteers left a very good impression on many young Korean women, and the tall and upright volunteer soldiers were also the objects of young Korean women. However, although falling in love is not a matter of style, the Volunteer Army still made the decision to ban falling in love with North Korean lesbians.
For example, after the victory of the volunteers, there are often North Korean women's transport teams or theatrical performers who come to the volunteers to celebrate together, and at this time, the troops will issue an order:No officer or soldier is allowed to touch a North Korean woman, and as long as such a situation occurs, once it is verified or someone reports it, they will be severely punished!
So, did the Chinese volunteers spend several years on the Korean battlefield, did such a problem occur?
Of course, there are still some people, after all, the volunteer army has invested more than 2 million troops in North Korea, and the number is so large that it is inevitable that there will be occasional violations of discipline.
However, it must be emphasized that there are no so-called vicious cases, and there are only problems in love, for example, a battalion commander fell in love with a young North Korean woman, and it was the woman who took the initiative to pursue the man, and the man did not dare to cross the Lei Chi because he knew that the volunteers had discipline.
However, the headquarters still knew about the incident and was supposed to deal with it seriously in accordance with the regulations, but the woman strongly requested to be united with the man, and her bravery was also valued by Kim Il Sung, and the matter was properly resolved under Kim Il Sung's interrogation.
There is also a soldier named Wang Xingfu, who also fell in love with a young woman from North Korea, originally, the organization did not know, but when the volunteers were preparing to evacuate North Korea, Wang Xingfu took the initiative to confess the matter to the organization, and hoped to stay in North Korea and live with the young North Korean woman.
If the battalion commander in front is not the one who takes the initiative, and has never crossed the thunder pool, there are extenuating circumstances, then this soldier Wang Xingfu is aware of the law and broke the law, and the headquarters decided to shoot him.
However, after investigation, it was found that Wang Xingfu only met the young woman after the armistice agreement was signed, so strictly speaking, this incident did not happen during the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and it is not a violation of battlefield discipline.
Moreover, the North Korean side also came to actively coordinate, saying that the sons of the woman's parents were killed in the war, and they treated Wang Xingfu as a son, hoping to fulfill their dream.
After comprehensive consideration and in order to maintain the friendship between China and North Korea, the Volunteer Army Headquarters did not deal with Wang Xingfu and approved him to stay in North Korea.
This incident later became a beautiful talk of friendship between China and the DPRK, which can be described as the best of both worlds.
