Scope of application: Suitable for lighters or ignition guns.
Canada Consumer Product Safety Act CCPSA:
The CCPSA is a safety law for all consumer products that came into force on June 20, 2011. It applies to products that are reasonably obtained for non-commercial purposes, such as household, recreational, and sports products. However, it does not apply to certain products that fall within the definition of "consumer goods", including ** substances, cosmetics, medicines, food, medical devices and ammunition. These products are governed by other laws. Toy products fall under the jurisdiction of the CCPSA.
The CCPSA is administered by Health Canada, and consumer products must comply with the relevant regulatory requirements under the CCPSA. Consumer products managed under the CCPSA include, but are not limited to: candles, strollers and strollers, jewelry, pajamas, glazed ceramics, baby feeding bottles, water bottles, pacifiers, phthalates, playpens, motor vehicle restraint systems and child seats, science and education kits, surface coating materials.
