Led by Fernando Torres, Liverpool have announced their full squad for the Ajax Legends match

Liverpool officially announced the full list of the match against Ajax Legends, led by Torres, coached by Christian Eriksen, and a number of legendary players participated. This is also the first time that Liverpool legend Torres has participated in the Liverpool Legends Match, and all proceeds from this competition will be used to support and develop social affairs in the Liverpool area.

Liverpool FC Legends will be clash with Ajax Legends at Anfield for their charity game** and the squad has been completed with five new additions already confirmed.

More than 54,000 tickets have been sold, and the tournament will kick off at 3pm GMT on Saturday 23 March, sponsored by AXA, and the funds raised will support Liverpool**'s social affairs in the Liverpool city and beyond.

This will be the eighth annual Legends Race, with the first seven editions raising a significant amount of over £6.4 million for the benefit of those in need in the Liverpool region and internationally.

Among the latest additions are Sami Hyypia and Kowalm, who will join Aager and Skrtel as defenders for Liverpool Legends, while Spiling, Sissoko and Maxi Rodriguez will be in a more upfield position.

With the addition of 18 confirmed players, the squad is now complete, giving ample options for this year's coaching staff, which is made up of former England manager and lifelong Liverpool fan Christian Eriksen and club legends Ian Rush, Aldridge and John Barnes.

The charity match will also see some of the fan-favourite players once again don the famous red shirt at Anfield, including modern-day hero Fernando Torres, who will play in his first Liverpool Legends game.

These competitions have helped us raise vital funds to continue our important work on the ground, and the majority of this year's funds will be used to further expand our educational programs and support the club's official Association of Ex-Players.

We currently work with more than 120 schools in the Liverpool metropolitan area through a variety of projects that help to educate more children while teaching them important life skills and tackling social issues such as those involving gangs and crime and supporting their mental health. ”
