On March 1, the staff of the Sanyuanli Street Municipal Office in Baiyun District joined hands with the law enforcement team to go deep into the Jier Community and the Shiliuqiao Community to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the garbage classification work. The purpose of this action is to further promote the implementation of the garbage classification system, enhance the environmental awareness of community residents, and jointly create a cleaner and more harmonious living environment.
During the inspection, staff and members of the enforcement team scrutinized the garbage collection points in various corners of the community and carefully observed the sorting of garbage. They found that most residents have been able to sort garbage as required, but there are still some places where the classification is inaccurate and the garbage is mixed. In response to these problems, the staff provided guidance and correction on the spot, and provided detailed explanations of classification knowledge to ensure that residents can correctly understand and implement the garbage classification regulations.
In addition, the staff also had in-depth exchanges with community leaders and discussed how to further promote the knowledge of garbage classification and improve the participation of residents. They suggested that the community could hold regular garbage sorting publicity activities, and enhance residents' awareness of environmental protection by hanging promotional slogans and distributing brochures. At the same time, they also suggested that the community can set up garbage sorting demonstration sites to drive more residents to participate in garbage sorting actions with the power of example.
Through this inspection, the garbage classification work of Jier Community and Shiliuqiao Community has been further promoted and improved. The staff of the municipal office said that they will continue to monitor the progress of the community's garbage sorting work and provide necessary guidance and support. They hope to use garbage sorting as a starting point to promote the overall improvement of the community environment, so that residents can enjoy a neater and cleaner living environment.
