In a remote mountain village, there is an ordinary couple who have a son and a daughter. The son is in his thirties and has not yet started a family, while the daughter is well-behaved and obedient, and has always been obedient to her parents.

My mother has always believed in Buddhism, and often goes to temples in the mountains to burn incense and worship Buddha, praying for the health and safety of her family. Back then, when her daughter was preparing for the college entrance examination, her mother took her to a temple in the mountains to worship the Buddha and pray for the blessing of the gods to be admitted to the ideal university. Sure enough, my daughter was finally admitted to the university she was satisfied with.

Now, the son's marriage has become a worry for the mother. She thought about taking her son to worship the Buddha and praying to the gods to bless her son with a successful marriage. Although the son did not take the superstition seriously and rarely participated in it, he could not bear his mother's repeated nagging and finally accompanied his mother to the temple in the mountains.

When they arrived at the temple, the mother and son burned incense and bowed down together. The mother prayed earnestly to the gods to bless her son with good health and find a good wife. The son looked a little impatient beside him, and after two minutes the mother still didn't stop, he couldn't help but say, "Mom, it's almost there." The mother ignored him and continued to mutter. The son had no choice but to impatiently walk out of the temple and wait for his mother at the door.

After the mother finished praying, she walked out of the temple and rebuked her son's behavior. Then, the two went down the mountain together. On the way, my son accidentally stepped on the air, fell and injured himself, and his feet hurt so much that he couldn't walk. The mother rushed her son to the hospital for treatment. After examination, fortunately, there is no major problem, and I just need to go home to recuperate.

However, after returning home, my son's feet were still in excruciating pain and he could not walk normally. This situation lasted for more than half a month, and there was no improvement in the slightest, and his son's movement was still difficult. The family was worried, and the mother thought that her son was not pious enough to worship the Buddha and annoyed the gods. In the days when her son was recuperating from his injuries, the mother would go to the temple every day to burn incense and pray to the gods for her son's early adoption.

As the days passed, my son's feet gradually improved, and finally one day, my son was finally able to walk on the ground. The mother looked at her son and said, "Son, you are all well, it is all blessed by the gods." In the future, you should also believe in the gods more, maybe the gods will bless you to find a good daughter-in-law. The son smiled and did not contradict his mother.

The days are still peaceful, and the life of the family, although ordinary, is full of warmth. The mother still goes to the temple from time to time to worship the Buddha, and the son no longer objects, he knows that this is the spiritual sustenance of the mother.

One day, the son brought back a girl. He told his mother that it was his girlfriend and that they were getting married. The mother was so happy that she felt that it was a gift from the gods.
