Reason 1: High status
First of all, let me tell you about the status of this Guanyin Bodhisattva, which itself is very high. We can take a look at the Journey to the West, whether it is Buddhism or Taoism, they are both under the jurisdiction of Heaven. So, what kind of status does this Guanyin Bodhisattva belong to?
Please the West Heaven Buddha, Bodhisattva, Arhat, South Antarctic Guanyin, East Chong'en Holy Emperor, Ten Continents and Three Islands Immortals, North Pole Xuanling, ** Yellow Pole Yellow Horn Immortal, this is the five elders of the five directions.We can clearly see that Guanyin Bodhisattva is on the same level as the Buddha, and he is one of the five elders of the five directions. You can understand that it is a side of the Heavenly Court, and the status of the princes is quite high. We can see that in Buddhism, the only person who can sit on an equal footing with him in the heavenly court is the Buddha.
Reason 2: The means are good
If you only have status and no force value as a guarantee, to be honest, others say that they don't respect you. Find a dark place to shut you down, what else can you do? We can take a look at the means of this Guanyin Bodhisattva.
Back then, Taishang Laojun once won a bet with me: he plucked my willow branches, put them in the alchemy furnace, burned them dry, and sent them back to me. I took it and put it in the bottle, and after a day and night, I got the green branches and green leaves, the same as the old.The Taoist boss personally took action to fight with Guanyin Bodhisattva, and the final result was that the two of them were open. And we must realize one point, that is, Taishang Laojun took the initiative to take action in this matter, and he took the initiative to bring it up, that is to say, theoretically speaking, although the two people seem to be evenly matched, but if they want to distinguish between high and low, then it must be that Taishang Daozu is slightly inferior, at least in this aspect. This is also the reason why the Taishang Dao Ancestor wants to give Guanyin Bodhisattva a magic weapon, which should be the original bet lost to Guanyin Bodhisattva. A bodhisattva who can make the Taishang Dao Ancestor admit defeat, do you think it is an ordinary bodhisattva?
Reason 3: **Very good
There is another point, everyone should be very clear, that is, in the list of gods, Guanyin Bodhisattva is a Cihang Dao person, and this belongs to one of the 12 golden immortals. In other words, in Taoism, the Buddha also has face, at least three generations like Yang Jian. After seeing Guanyin Bodhisattva, at least call Uncle Shi. In this way, after Taoism sees Guanyin Bodhisattva, it will not embarrass him, which is why the Buddha asked Guanyin Bodhisattva to go to the Tang Dynasty to find someone to learn the scriptures. Because the Tang Dynasty theoretically belongs to the territory of the Taoist ancestors, then at this time, if it is a pure Buddhist person, it is basically equivalent to looking for death, and there is such an identity as a Cihang Taoist person. Taishang Dao Ancestor is not easy to deal with his juniors.
Reason 4: Widely connected
There is a sentence that everyone should have heard, that is, when you come out to mix, what you want is more people and more brothers. To put it simply, the network should be wide enough to be able to call people out if something really happens. So, what does this Guanyin Bodhisattva's connections look like? Just look at the Four Sacred Tests of Meditation.
The old mother of Li Shan is not fantastic, and the Bodhisattva of the South China Sea, please go down the mountain. Fuxian Manjushri is a guest, turning into a beautiful woman in the forest.See, even a big guy of the level of Li Shan's mother has to give Guanyin Bodhisattva face and say, let him come over to test the scripture learning team, this big guy has to come over, and he also invited two other Bodhisattvas to pretend to be women. Do you think that if you don't have a little connection, others will give you this face?
On the whole, no, no, no
Therefore, since Guanyin Bodhisattva has such a high status and is very good at his means, the key is his background. With such a wide range of connections, I can only say that Guanyin Bodhisattva can't think of a cow, if he is not a cow, how can others be cows?
