While much success can be achieved with 100% effort, things like fertility that are constrained by the laws of nature are helpless. The feeling of being dominated by work, money, and time in life is very depressing, and if you are under the pressure of childbirth, it is simply stressful. As a result, many women have set their sights on egg freezing.
If you pay close attention to this information, you will find that egg freezing usually occurs in women who are on the rise in their careers or studying for further education. Choosing to freeze eggs can give you a way back, unload the ideological burden of childbirth, refuse to compromise and compromise, and let yourself face feelings more purely. If you really want to have a child one day in the future, you will be glad that you have made the right decision now.
The so-called egg freezing technique is to remove a certain number of eggs from the hospital when a woman is young and healthy, and cryostore them in liquid nitrogen of -196. When the egg freezer wants to have children in the future, the frozen eggs are removed and thawed, combined with sperm (in vitro fertilization), and the fertilized embryos are implanted into the uterus.
As we all know, the best age for women to have children is between 25-30 years old, and once a woman exceeds 30 years old, her fertility will begin to decline. After the age of 35, the function of the ovaries declines sharply, and it can lead to a decrease in the number of eggs, poor egg quality, few basal follicles, and a high rate of chromosomal abnormalities. After the age of 40, a woman's ovarian function will decline rapidly, and fertility will be close to exhaustion. Therefore, since the birth of egg freezing technology, it has been regarded as a solution to the age limit of female childbearing.
There are two ways to freeze eggs:
Open-ended
Also known as: "programmed slow freezing method".
The eggs were stored in a dehydrated solution, slowly frozen using a computer program, and then placed in liquid nitrogen of -196 for preservation; However, due to direct contact with liquid nitrogen, the egg DNA may be damaged, so it is generally stored for 5-10 years.
Closed
Also known as: "vitrification".
The eggs were placed in a highly concentrated cryoprotectant solution and immediately stored in liquid nitrogen-196; The closed storage time will also be relatively long, generally not less than 10 years.
The process of egg freezing
1 Physical Examination:
It is convenient for doctors to have the most accurate judgment of their own physical condition, mainly for the following examinations:
AMH : female ovarian reserve;
Six hormones: to understand the quality of follicles and hormone levels of egg freezers (check on the second and third days of menstruation);
*B ultrasound: to understand the number, quality and size of follicles of egg freezers (check on the second and third days of menstruation).
2 Ovulation Induction:
The process of ovulation induction varies from person to person, because each person's ovarian function is different, and the methods and drugs used by doctors are also very different. Follicle monitoring is also done during this process to adjust the regimen and medication.
3 Egg retrieval:
Eggs are retrieved and frozen when the mother is healthy to prevent the eggs from aging with the body.
4 Egg preservation:
Eggs are cryopreserved by two different preservation methods (open and closed egg freezing methods mentioned above).
5 Resuscitation and thawing:
When the egg freezer wants to have children, the doctor takes out the frozen eggs and thaws them to restore their viability before use.
Note: There may be a small amount of loss in the number of eggs after resuscitation).
