DocuSign sender notes when placing the signing box

Mondo Social Updated on 2024-03-04

Some customers responded to the technical response of Fulian Information, and after their contract was signed, they found that the signature was incomplete in the archived documents, but the signatory showed a complete signature when signing.

After all signatories have signed, the system sends a copy of the signature to the signatory, and the signature and signing date are found to be incomplete in the document.

The reason for this is that the sender is too close to the document border when placing the signing box. Once the envelope is sent to the recipient, the recipient has no way to move the signature box, but can only sign, so that some signature information will not be displayed completely.

As shown in the figure below, if the sender needs to fill in a lot of text when placing the signature box, be sure to reserve sufficient space. As shown in Figure 1 below, the original document "work" in the document is blocked, and the work location information behind 2 can only be entered in a few words. Therefore, before sending the envelope, the sender must consider whether the signatory has sufficient reserved space when signing, so as to avoid incomplete signing information.
