The 2024 Spartan Warrior Kids World Championship will be held on August 17 at Genting Snow Park in Chongli, China. This is also the first time that the event has moved out of North America and settled in Asia since its inception.

The Spartan Kids World Championships are divided into four categories: 9 to 11 years old men, 9 to 11 years old women, 12 to 14 years old men and 12 to 14 years old women, a total of four competition groups, and the top 10 players in the elite group in the regular Spartan Kids regular events this season will qualify for the World Championships. In addition to the World Championships, on 17 and 18 August, there will also be an open competition to encourage a wide range of young people.

As an important part of the Spartan event product system, the Spartan Children's Race is aimed at young people, emphasizing the spiritual core of "honor must be won by oneself", so that the little warriors know how to enjoy outdoor sports, develop a healthy lifestyle, learn to overcome difficulties with an optimistic and positive attitude, and strengthen their bodies and shape their souls in the natural environment in the process of challenging obstacles.

In 2017, the Spartan Children's Race was successfully held in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and other cities. Today, the event has become a recognized and loved outdoor obstacle course for Chinese families, with more than 500,000 families participating. During last year's National Day holiday, 12,705 young warriors from all over the country participated in the Beijing Station Race in Yanqing, Beijing, setting a Guinness World Record for the "Largest Children's Obstacle Running Championship".

The popularity of mass-involved events such as the Spartan Children's Race in China is a testament to the vigorous development of youth sports in China. The World Championships held in China also reflects the importance that Chinese families attach to the development of youth sports. Tan Jianxiang, a professor at the School of Sports Science at South China Normal University, said, "The development of international mass sports events has built a platform for Chinese young people to communicate and compete fairly with their peers around the world. ”

Zhang Haoyang, the person in charge of the Spartan Warrior Race, said bluntly that China has now become the world's largest market for the Spartan Children's Championships, which is also an important reason why the Children's World Championships landed in China this season. At the same time, the event will also become a window to show the charm of China and Chongli to Spartan families all over the world, provide a strong boost for the building of the cultural tourism brand of Beijing-Zhangjiakou "Winter Olympic City", and further confirm the sustainable development and reference of the "Four Seasons Sports" model.
