A few days ago, the first offshore seawater salmon breeding cage in China, which lasted 19 hours developed and manufactured by Shandong Port, arrived safely in the target sea area and was successfully delivered.
The smooth delivery of the first offshore seawater salmon aquaculture cage in China is an important symbol of Shandong Port's full implementation of the strategic deployment requirements of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and the provincial "strong marine province", and the active development of the marine aquaculture equipment market and strong support for the high-quality development of marine fishery aquaculture, which has a positive role in promoting the development level of marine economy, enhancing the comprehensive strength of the ocean, and promoting the construction of ecological civilization.
December 2023 Preparation.
Back in December 2023, as early as before the cage was launched, the technical team of the offshore equipment project department of Shandong Port Equipment Group planned the cage towing plan in advance. They are well aware of the complex sea conditions and changeable weather in the target sea area, and the large water area, low speed, and limited maneuverability of the towing operation vessels will have a certain impact on the navigation safety of the waters near the towing route. In order to ensure the safe and smooth progress of the towing mission, the technical team has conducted simulation drills and on-site surveys for many times, and formulated corresponding prevention and control measures for the safety risks and hidden dangers of navigation in towing operations.
Set sail at 7:36 a.m. on February 27.
At 7:36 a.m. on February 27, the dawn dawned, and the "Caijin Offshore Granary No. 1-1" was towed out of the sea at the Huahai Base of Shandong Port Equipment Group and slowly sailed to the designated sea area. The moment of setting sail from the Huahai base, every wave ups and downs, every gust of wind blowing, tests the professionalism and patience of the technical team.
Arrived at 12:16 on February 27.
At 12:16 p.m. on February 27, after arriving at the designated sea area, the technical team was in full swing to prepare for the bottom of the house, strictly implement measures such as special ship guarding and on-site stationing of safety officers, and firmly grasp the safety of operations. At the same time, the technical team closely tracks the weather changes, grasps the sea state information in time, and flexibly adjusts the installation plan according to the terrain, water flow, wind direction and other environmental factors in the target sea area to ensure the smooth progress of the cage sinking and floating experiment and installation under complex sea conditions.
February 28 at 2:00 to be delivered.
In the face of complex and changeable sea conditions, the technical team accurately positioned, stable operation, overcame the difficulties such as complex sea conditions, and after comprehensive inspection and repeated testing, the performance indicators of the cage met the expected requirements. At 2:00 a.m. on February 28, after 19 hours, the "Caijin Offshore Granary No. 1-1" was successfully delivered, marking a new step in the field of intelligent manufacturing of marine aquaculture equipment of Shandong Port Equipment Group.
Caijin Offshore Granary No. 1-1" is a rectangular movable column-stabilized bottom-sitting aquaculture cage, which is a large-scale fishery breeding equipment used for unattended salmon trout aquaculture in the Yellow Sea of China. The cage is a rectangular column-stabilized truss structure with a total length of 89 meters and a width of 455 meters, height 359 meters, can sit on the bottom of the open sea area for a long time for breeding operations, has its own lifting and floating control ability, can be towed and moved in offshore waters, and can be maintained and repaired at sea on the spot. It has the functions of feed bag storage, feed feeding, cage monitoring, energy supply and so on. After it is officially put into operation, it can effectively solve the development pain points of traditional marine aquaculture equipment, such as low wind and wave resistance, high artificial feeding cost and low efficiency of aquaculture operations, and realize the intensive and intelligent production of marine fishery aquaculture.
