What are the connection methods of the pump tubing?

Pump tubing connection:

First, the clamp connection.

The clamp connection method is a pipe connection method widely used in the nineties of the last century, and its principle is to put a rubber ring between the two nozzles, and fasten it with fastening bolts to achieve the purpose of connecting the pipeline.

Because the clamp connects the pipeline with more accessories, and the processing is cumbersome, the anti-corrosion is more difficult to deal with, the on-site construction operation surface is large, the construction period is long, especially in the large-scale pipeline installation project, the cost is huge.

Second, groove connection.

The groove connection method is also called clamp connection, and its principle is the same as that of the clamp connection, which is fastened with a rubber ring between the two nozzles, but the fastening bolt position on the rubber ring is fixed on the steel pipe hoop or the scraping body. Because the pipe hoop tightly clamps the rubber ring to the wire sleeve part of the pipe end, the fastening bolt of the rubber ring can be omitted, and the connection length of the pipe hoop is shorter than the clamp connection length, and the groove connection has better rigidity, air tightness and vibration resistance.

3. Flange connection.

Flange connection is a detachable joint that fixes two pipes, pipe fittings or equipment on a flange plate respectively, then adds a flange pad between the two flanges, and finally tightens the two flanges with bolts to make them tightly combined.

Fourth, socket connection.

The socket connection method is used for the connection of cast iron pipes and pipe fittings for water supply and drainage, and there are two kinds of flexible connection and rigid connection. The flexible connection uses the rubber ring as the sealing and water-stopping material, which is convenient for construction, does not require special tools such as extubation machines, and is suitable for installation environments that require small deformation; Raw tape is used as the sealing material for rigid connections, which is less strong and less common to use.
