Breguet participates in the Frieze Los Angeles Art Fair from February 29 to March 3. The exhibition "Inhabiting Time" is the culmination of a series of collaborations between Breguet and curator Somi Sim, bringing together two masterpieces. She explains the artistic concept of the project as follows: "The exhibition 'Habitat in Time' aims to improve our relationship with time through the lens of architecture. We can think of space as an architectural expression of lifestyle in the temporal dimension.

This final exhibition in Los Angeles focuses on artist Gordon Matta-Clark and People's architecture office)。Their work calls us to think about how we behave in our daily lives, especially in the physical and perceptual realms, and at the same time addresses my question from multiple dimensions: 'How do we inhabit time?' ’。

In the video ClockShower (1973), American artist Gordon Matta-Clark (1943-1978) climbs and hangs from the top of a clock tower in New York, showering, shaving, and brushing his teeth. This acrobatic performance, which explores the city, connects different values: the body and the built environment, the private and the public, the personal experience of time and its formal expression.

Time Pieces (2024) was created by Los Angeles and Beijing-based architects (PAOs). This dynamic installation aims to present a multi-layered experience of time through spatial structure. Reflectors are arranged in rings, creating a constant flow of images, sightlines, and interactions in space, echoing the clock dials in Gordon Matta-Clark's work.
